Werealsogratefultotheirfamilies.Stayingbehindwhenafamilymembergoestowarisaheavyburden--anditsparticularlyhardatChristmas.Weprayforourmilitaryfamilies;weaskAlmightyGodtobestowHisprotectionandcareontheirlovedonesastheyprotectournationfromgravedangers.

Wealsoremembertheheroicmenandwomenwhohavemadetheultimatesacrificeforournationsfreedom.WepraythatGodwillcomfortthelovedonestheyleftbehind.Thesacrificesofthesebravetroopshaverescuedmillionsfromlivesoftyrannyandsorrow,andmadeAmericamoresecure.Wewillalwayscherishthememoryofeachofourfallenservicemenandwomen,andcountitaprivilegetobecitizensofthecountrytheyserved.
