復(fù)合句寫作導(dǎo)練(一)——非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞主講教師:高中英語(yǔ)組一寫作要領(lǐng)

眾所周知,作文中出現(xiàn)過(guò)多的簡(jiǎn)單句會(huì)讓人覺(jué)得單調(diào)乏味,句子與句子之間的關(guān)系顯得松散;而文章中過(guò)多地出現(xiàn)復(fù)合句又顯得累贅,讀起來(lái)費(fèi)勁。恰當(dāng)?shù)剡\(yùn)用非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞(過(guò)去分詞、不定式、動(dòng)詞-ing形式)、獨(dú)立主格結(jié)構(gòu)或with復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)對(duì)句式加以簡(jiǎn)化,可以使文句更加準(zhǔn)確、得體、精煉、靈活,使語(yǔ)言更加豐富多彩。1.用非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞轉(zhuǎn)換簡(jiǎn)單句,提升表達(dá)檔次寫作時(shí),我們可以利用非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞對(duì)兩個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單句進(jìn)行轉(zhuǎn)換,使其成為較高級(jí)的表達(dá)方式。轉(zhuǎn)換時(shí)可采用三步法。第一步:寫出兩個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單句。第二步:找準(zhǔn)兩個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單句的對(duì)接點(diǎn),讓一個(gè)句子作為主干,另一個(gè)句子用非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞進(jìn)行改寫。第三步:判斷應(yīng)用何種非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞,把握好時(shí)態(tài)和語(yǔ)態(tài),最后連接起來(lái)。

第一步:寫出兩個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單句。①Ifeelquitesorryforthat.②Ibegintothinkaboutwhattodotohelp.第二步:讓句②作主句,用非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞改寫句①。第三步:句①表示原因,其動(dòng)詞feel與主語(yǔ)I之間為主謂關(guān)系,故用動(dòng)詞-ing形式作原因狀語(yǔ)。Feelingquitesorryforthat,Ibegintothinkaboutwhattodotohelp.轉(zhuǎn)換的其他例子:(1)首先,我從小就接觸過(guò)外教,可以用英語(yǔ)自由地與他人交流。(2019全國(guó)Ⅰ)Firstofall,Ihavebeenexposedtoforeignteacherssinceayoungage.IcancommunicatefreelywithothersinEnglish.→Firstofall,_____________________(expose)toforeignteacherssinceayoungage,IcancommunicatefreelywithothersinEnglish.(現(xiàn)在分詞作原因狀語(yǔ))havingbeenexposed(2)它是一個(gè)讓你了解我們學(xué)校歷史的更好的機(jī)會(huì)。Itisabetterchanceforyou.Youshouldlearnaboutthehistoryofourschool.→Itisabetterchanceforyou____________

thehistoryofourschool.(動(dòng)詞不定式作主語(yǔ))tolearnabout2.用非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞轉(zhuǎn)換復(fù)合句,使語(yǔ)言簡(jiǎn)練相對(duì)于用非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞轉(zhuǎn)換簡(jiǎn)單句,轉(zhuǎn)換復(fù)合句要簡(jiǎn)單一些,只需要兩步。因?yàn)樾枰D(zhuǎn)換的一般是從句部分,只要根據(jù)主句的主語(yǔ)和從句謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的邏輯關(guān)系判斷用哪種非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞,再確定好時(shí)態(tài)語(yǔ)態(tài)即可。第一步:寫出復(fù)合句。Afterwehadpracticedplayingbasketballforalmosttwomonths,westronglydesiredtobethewinner.第二步:把a(bǔ)fter引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句轉(zhuǎn)換為非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞,practice與we之間為主謂關(guān)系,且表示完成,故用動(dòng)詞-ing形式的完成式作狀語(yǔ)。_______________(practice)playingbasketballforalmosttwomonths,westronglydesiredtobethewinner.Havingpracticed轉(zhuǎn)換的幾個(gè)其他例子:(1)我知道當(dāng)?shù)孛佬g(shù)館將舉辦一個(gè)中國(guó)畫展覽,所以寫信申請(qǐng)志愿服務(wù)。(2019全國(guó)Ⅰ)BecauseIknowthatthelocalartgallerywillholdanexhibitionofChinesepainting,I’mwritingtoapplyforvolunteering.→_________(know)thatthelocalartgallerywillholdanexhibitionofChinesepainting,I’mwritingtoapplyforvolunteering.(現(xiàn)在分詞作原因狀語(yǔ))Knowing(2)驚詫于他們的熟練程度,我決心要像他們一樣好。BecauseIwasamazedathowskillfultheywere,Ideterminedtobejustasgood.→_________(amaze)athowskillfultheywere,Ideterminedtobejustasgood.(過(guò)去分詞作狀語(yǔ))Amazed(3)由于老師的幫助,我的英語(yǔ)進(jìn)步很大。因?yàn)槲业挠⒄Z(yǔ)進(jìn)步很大,我確信我能考上更好的大學(xué)。Becausemyteacherhelpsme,myEnglishhasgreatlyimproved.BecausemyEnglishhasgreatlyimproved,I’msureIwillgotoabetteruniversity.簡(jiǎn)析:原句兩處重復(fù)出現(xiàn)由because引導(dǎo)的從句,讀起來(lái)很別扭。換用“with+現(xiàn)在分詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)”及“becauseof...”后,讀起來(lái)給人的感覺(jué)大不一樣?!鷂_______________________myEnglishhasgreatlyimproved.Becauseofthis,I’msureIwillgotoabetteruniversity.Withmyteacherhelpingme,(4)因?yàn)樘鞜?我們?nèi)ビ斡玖?。Asitwashot,wewentswimming.(5)如果天氣允許的話,我會(huì)去那兒。Ifweatherpermits,Iwillgothere.→Itbeinghot,wewentswimming.→Weatherpermitting,Iwillgothere.3.注意在寫作中非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的常用句型(1)remaintobedone有待于被……Manyquestionshavetobesettledandmuchremainstobedoneinoureducationalwork.我們的教育工作中還有許多問(wèn)題要解決,還有許多事情要去做。(2)連詞when/while/unless/although...+doing/doneWhensearchingforsomeinformation,wecanoperatebytouchingthescreen.當(dāng)查找一些信息時(shí),我們可以通過(guò)觸摸屏來(lái)操作。(3)comparedwith/to....與……比較_______________theescapeddriver,IamproudofwhatIdid.與逃逸的司機(jī)相比,我為自己所做的事感到自豪。(4)besaid/reported/considered...todo...據(jù)說(shuō)/報(bào)道/認(rèn)為Abusfullofpassengers_______________havegoneoutofcontrolonahighwaysouthofthecity.據(jù)報(bào)道一輛滿載乘客的公共汽車在城南的一條公路上失去了控制。Comparedwithwasreportedto寫作指導(dǎo)二在所有的高級(jí)語(yǔ)法中,幾乎所有的狀語(yǔ)從句都可以變成非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)或獨(dú)立主格結(jié)構(gòu)。如果你的作文中有狀語(yǔ)從句,學(xué)會(huì)下面的口訣,就可以改成非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)或獨(dú)立主格結(jié)構(gòu)。一去,二看,三改。一去:去連詞;二看:看主語(yǔ);三改:改分詞。例如:條件狀語(yǔ)從句Ifsuchisthecase,youshouldapologizetoher.按照這個(gè)口訣來(lái)改,第一步,去掉連詞if;第二步,看前后兩句話的主語(yǔ),前后主語(yǔ)不一致,所以要改成獨(dú)立主格結(jié)構(gòu);第三步,改分詞,is變成分詞是being,最后變成Suchbeingthecase,youshouldapologizetoher.。如果前后兩句話主語(yǔ)一致,就變成分詞結(jié)構(gòu)。如果前后兩句話主語(yǔ)一致,就變成分詞結(jié)構(gòu)。例如:Enteringtheclassroom,Ms.Liwassurprisedtofindwewerestandinginline,clappinghandsandsayingloudly“HappyTeachers’Day!”這個(gè)句子就包含了兩個(gè)分詞結(jié)構(gòu)作伴隨狀語(yǔ);再舉個(gè)例子:Seeingthemonthebus,Ifeltakindofsatisfaction.三即時(shí)演練
