ecomefriendsinlonelinessholdtheirhandsinsuchasituation.Puttheidealized"philosophyoflove"inTheBoyinStripedPajamas.Obviously,thefriendshipbetweenchildren,althoughnotresolvingtheangerofwar,willatleastwarmtheworld,sothatthosewhoarecoldcanslowdown.Theconnectionbetweenthetworaces(JewsandGermans),duetoapparentsocialdifferences,isevidentinthenarrativeasanabsolutemasterandslave.HowtheGermanstreatedtheJews,especiallythemenandthesoldiers.2.2SideDescriptionTointerpretthewholepictureofWorldWarII,thefilmisaboutwar,withoutalotofbloodyimages,andstripedpajamasareanimportantthreadthroughoutthefilm."Stripepajamas"isametaphorforthecapturedprisonersintheconcentrationcamp.Intheeyesoftheboys,therearenoenemies,noclassgap,onlyfriendsinstripedpajamas.Stripedpajamasrepresentcaptivityandslavery,livinganinhumanlife,livingintheendlesswaiting,waitingforthejudgmentofdeath,waitingforthecycleoflife.Italsorepresentsthecrueltyofwar,intheeyesofthestripedpajamasalsowarneduslivinginpeace,toalwaysrememberthelessonsofwarblood,adheretotheroadofpeace.Brunowenttotheconcentrationcampbecausehesawthestripedpajamas,andmetagoodfriend.Heenviedtheboysinthestripedpajamas,wheretherewerenorulestoplayfreely.Stristripedpajamaswereaprisonuniform.WhenBrunostoodintheordinarydress,hewasnothinglikethepeoplearoundhim.Itwasthedressthatturnedhimintoawispofwhitesmoke.Thereisnobloodinthescenes,onlyobscureexpressions,andthecountlessstripedpajamasstackedoutsidethegasroomarescatteredaloneontheground,suggestingthenumberofpeoplewhohavejustdied.Fromthebeginningtotheend,butthesmokefromthehighchimney,youcansmellthesmellofblood.Attheendofthefilm,thegroupofJewsbeingdrivenandslaughtered,andotheroccasionsexplainthefateofJewsinarelativelyhiddenway:Pavel,Shmuel'sfathermissing,andmanystripedpajamas.ThedinnerwithHitlerisomittedfromthemovie.Infact,Hitlerisnotfeaturedatallinthemovie,saveforthe'NaziSalutes'andaflowerwithHitler'snameonitongrandmother’scasket.ItispeculiarthatHitler,themostdiscernibleiconofWorldWarIIandthatofNazismisnotagreaterpartoftheplot.BrunoandShmuel'shandareareclearlydifferent.Bruno'shand"lookshealthyandenergetic",while"Shmuel'shandtellsaverydifferentstory".ThestateofthehandsshowsthattheGermanswereinaprominentposition;theirjobistomovetheirfingerstoguidetheJewstoperformallthecoolies.Thisphenomenonsuggeststhatthereisamaster-slaverelationshipbetweenthetworaces,whichexplainswhytherearesuchlargedifferencesintheirsocialstatus.Wrappedthechildworldishugeadultworldisterrible,throughthefilmdetailscanbefound,Bruno'snewhomeisnolongerahome:theprisonwindowlikeofficers,guardsatthedoorofthesoldiersandWolfdog,fullofNazitheoryoftutor,theskysometimesfilledwithstenchofblacksmokeforBrunothisstrangeeverything,allintheadultworldinanorderlyway.Thelockedirondoor,theemptyroom,manystripedpajamashangingontheshelf,thatroom,behindtheirondoor,howmanypeoplehavedied?Peopleoutsidethedooronlyseethecloudysmoke,risingdayafterday,whilespitting,whileswearing,butdonotknowtheelegyhasbeenheardthroughheavenandearth,playedthewholeera.ChapterThreeAnalysisoftheMainCharacters3.1Bruno'sImageAnalysis3.1.1ASincereFriendBrunolongedforfriendship,wenttoShmuelagainandagain,bringhimfood,butalsowanttothrowabasketballtoplay,inviteeachothertohishomeinBerlintoplay.WhenhilltoBrunowipecup,Brunoafraidfriendhungrygavehimsnacks.andwhenhewasthekotlerlieutenantasked,Brunobecauseoffearandnotadmittohim,leadtohillwasbeaten,thisBrunofeelveryguilty,decidedtofinddadforeachothertomakeupforhisfault.Facedwiththehorrorthathehadneverseenbefore,BrunofeltthattheJewswereaproblemtofindout.Hewenttohissisterandwantedtoknowmoreabouther,sayingthattheJewswereevilandenemies,butBrunoasked,"IsDadagoodman?Hecontrolsaterribleplace?"Inthisway,thequestionoftheJewsandthefatheralsooccurredsimultaneously.WhenBrunometShmuelathome,hesaid,"Weshouldnotbefriendsbutenemies."Itcanbeseenthat,basedonwhathesawandheard,hecanbasicallyjudgethatheandJewHillmayhaveacrucialdifference,althoughinfactBrunodidnotdowhat"should"do,butmoreabouthisfriendshipwithShmuel.Theyaccompaniedeachotherthroughoneafternoonafteranother.Theytoldeachotherabouttheirexperiences,andBrunorepeatedlyinvitedShimueltohishomeforlunchandplaywithhim.BrunofeltdeeplyguiltyofhavingliedabouthisfearoftheNazisoldiers.Whenhefinallymethimagain,hesaidsincerely:"Ihavebeenherefordaysbutyounevercame.Ithoughtwewerenotfriends.Shmuel,I'msorryforthatday——Wearestillfriends,right?"Shmuelwassilentforamomentandnodded.Bruno'ssincereapologyandShmuel'stoleranceandunderstanding,allthishasnothingtodowithrace,nothingtodo,thepurestgoodwillofchildrenslowlyintotheheartsofreaders,letpeoplemove.Adultworldcheat,theworldofinnocence,Bruno'seyesfatherbrutal,autocratic,healwaysdon'tunderstandtheoriginofhisfather'shate,ashedidn'tunderstandwhywiththelittleboyJewsinthebarsdocoolie,heisnotaffectedbytheexternalenvironment,alwaysadheretotheirownworldview,thisisthesimplicityofthechild.Children'sfriendshipisalwayspureandbeautiful,evenifintotheshadowofdeath,willholdthehandsoffriends,comfortfriendsisalsocomfortthemselves"thisisjustaplacetoshelterfromtherain,w
