句子類型

構(gòu):謂語動詞是不及物動詞,本身能表達完整的意思,后面不需跟賓語,但有時可跟副詞、介詞(1)

簡單句的五種基本句型1、S(主)+Vi(不及物動詞)(謂語)?主謂結(jié)

短語等作狀語。

例如:Timeflies.

1)S+V+副詞(狀語)

例如:Birdssingbeautifully.2)S+Vi+介詞短語(狀語)

例如:Hewentonholiday.3)S+Vi+不定式(狀語)

例如:Westoppedtohavearest.4)S+Vi+分詞(狀語)

例如:r11goswimming.

2、S(主)+Vt(及物動詞)(謂語)+0(賓語)——>主謂賓結(jié)構(gòu):此句型的特點是:謂語動

詞是及物動詞,不能表達完整的意思,必須跟有一個賓語。

例如:Ilikemusic.2)S+Vt+不定式

例如:Iwanttohelphim.

[說明]常用于這句型的動詞有:decide,hope,learn,need,promise,want,

等。3)S+Vt+疑問詞+不定式

例如:Idon,tknowwhattodo.

[說明]常用于這句型的動詞有:ask,decide,findout,forget,know等。4)S+Vt+動

名詞

例如:Ienjoylivinghere.

[說明]常用于這句型的動詞有:advise,enjoy,finish,mind,practise等。

5)S+Vt+賓語從句

例如:Idon,tthink(that)heisright.

[說明]常用于這句型的動詞有:hope,know,notice,think,wonder等。

【難點】

3、S(主)+V(謂語)(系動詞)+P(表語)>主系表結(jié)構(gòu):謂語動詞是連系動詞,不能表

達完整的意思,必須加上一個表明主語特征、身份、狀態(tài)的表語。

例如:WeareChinese.1)S+V+名詞/代詞例如:Heisaboy.2)S+V+形容詞

例如:Sheisbeautiful.3)S+V+Adv副詞例如:Classisover.4)S+V+介詞短

例如:Heisingoodhealth.5)S+V+分詞

例如:Heisexcited.

[說明]I.除了be系動詞外,還有一些動詞也可以用作系動詞,①表感官的動詞,feel,

smell,taste,sound,look,seem等。②表轉(zhuǎn)變變化的動詞,become,get,grow,turn,go,等。

③表延續(xù)的動詞keep,seem等。④表瞬時的動詞come,fall等。II.表語也就是主語的補足語。

send,show,teach,tell,wish,write等。S+Vt+間接賓語+直接賓語例如:Isent

5、S(主)+Vt(謂語)+0(賓語)+0C(賓語補足語)>主謂賓補結(jié)構(gòu):謂語動詞雖然

跟有一個賓語,但意思還不完整,必須加上另外一個成分(賓語補足語)對賓語進行補充說明??梢杂?/p>

作賓語補足語的有:名詞、形容詞、不定式、動名詞、分詞、介詞短語等。

例如:Imakeyouclear.

[強調(diào)]賓語和賓語補足語之間通常具有邏輯主謂關(guān)系。

1)S+Vt+賓語+名詞

例如:WenamedourbabyTom.

[說明]常用于這句型的動詞有:call,find,make,name等。2)S+Vt+賓語+形容詞

例如:Hepaintedthewallwhite.

[說明]常用于這句型的動詞有:cut,find,keep,leave,make,see,wash等。

3)S+Vt+賓語+介詞短語

例如:Shealwayskeepseverythingingoodorder.4)S+Vt+賓語+不定式

例如:Iwishyoutostay.[說明]常用于這句型的動詞有:①不定式帶to的詞:ask,

invite,tell,want,warn,wish等。②不定式不帶to的詞:have,know,let,make,notice,

see,watch等。5)S+Vt+賓語+分詞

從句(AttributiveClauses)在句中做定語,修飾一個名詞或代詞,被修飾的名詞,

詞組或代詞即先行詞。定語從句通常出現(xiàn)在先行詞之后,由關(guān)系詞(關(guān)系代詞或關(guān)系

副詞)引出。

關(guān)系代詞有:指人,指物或事情等。

Theyrushedovertohelptheman.Theman'scarwasbrokendown.

Theyrushedovertohelpthemanwhosecarhadbrokendown.那人車壞了,

大家都跑過去幫忙。

Pleasepassmethebook.

Thecoverofthisbookisgreen.

Whose用來指人或物,(只用作定語,若指物,它還可以同ofwhich互換)

關(guān)系代詞所代替的先行詞是人或物的名詞或代詞,并在句中充當主語、賓語、定語等

成分。關(guān)系代詞在定語從句中作主語時,從句謂語動詞的人稱和數(shù)要和先行詞保持一

致。A

關(guān)系副詞有:等。

1)Istillrememberthedayswhich/thatwespenttogether.2)Istill

關(guān)系副詞可代替的先行詞是時間、地點或理由的名詞,在從句中作狀語。

關(guān)系副詞when,where,why的含義相當于〃介詞+which〃結(jié)構(gòu),因此常常和〃介詞+

which〃結(jié)構(gòu)交替使用

判斷關(guān)系代詞與關(guān)系副詞

習慣上總把表地點或時間的名詞與關(guān)系副詞where,when聯(lián)系在一起。此兩題錯在關(guān)

系詞的誤用上。用關(guān)系代詞,還是關(guān)系副詞完全取決于從句中的謂語動詞。及物動詞

后面無賓語,就必須要求用關(guān)系代詞;而不及物動詞則要求用關(guān)系副詞。

準確判斷先行詞在定語從句中的成分(主、謂、賓、定、狀),也能正確選擇出關(guān)系代

詞/關(guān)系副詞。

例1.Isthismuseum___youvisitedafewdaysage?A.whereB.thatC.on

whichD.theone

例1變?yōu)榭隙ň洌篢hismuseumis___youvisitedafewdaysago.在句1中,

所缺部分為賓語,而where,that,onwhich都不能起到賓語的作用,只有theone

既做了主句的表語,又可做從句的賓語,可以省略關(guān)系代詞,所以應(yīng)選D。

Isthismuseumtheone(that)youvisitedafewdaysage?

例2.Isthisthemuseumtheexhibitionwasheld.A.whereB.thatC.on

whichD.theone

例2變?yōu)榭隙ň洌篢hisisthemuseum___theexhibitionwasheld.句2中,

主、謂、賓俱全,從句部分為句子的狀語表地點,既可用副詞where,又因inthe

museum詞組,可用介詞in+which

引導(dǎo)地點狀語。而此題中,介詞。n用的不對,所以選A。

限制性和非限制性定語從句

例如:Thisisthehousewhichweboughtlastmonth.這是我們上個月買的那

幢房子。(限制性)

Thehouse,whichweboughtlastmonth,isverynice.這幢房子很漂亮,是我們

上個月買的。(非限制性)

1)定語從句有限制性和非限制性兩種。限制性定語從句是先行詞不可缺少的部分,去

掉它主句意思往往不明確;非限制性定語從句是先行詞的附加說明,去掉了也不會影

響主句的意思,它與主句之間通常用逗號分開,

2)當先行詞是專有名詞或物主代詞和指示代詞所修飾時,其后的定語從句通常是非限

制性的,

例如:CharlesSmith,whowasmyformerteacher,retiredlastyear.查

理?史密斯去年退休了,他曾經(jīng)是我的老師。

Myhouse,whichIboughtlastyear,hasgotalovelygarden.我去年買的的那

幢房子帶著個漂亮的花園。

Thisnovel,whichIhavereadthreetimes,isverytouching.這本小說很動人,

我已經(jīng)讀了三遍。

3)非限制性定語從句還能將整個主句作為先行詞,對其進行修飾,這時從句謂語動詞

要用第三人稱單數(shù),

例如:HeseemsnottohavegraspedwhatImeant,whichgreatlyupsetsme.

他似乎沒抓住我的意思,這使我心煩。

Liquidwaterchangestovapor,whichiscalledevaporation.液態(tài)水變?yōu)檎羝?

這就叫做蒸發(fā)。

說明:關(guān)系代詞that和關(guān)系副詞why不能引導(dǎo)非限制性定語從句。

介詞+關(guān)系詞

1)介詞后面的關(guān)系詞不能省略。

2)that前不能有介詞。

3)某些在從句中充當時間,地點或原因狀語的"介詞+關(guān)系詞”結(jié)構(gòu)可以同關(guān)系副詞

when和where互換。

ThisisthehouseinwhichIlivedtwoyearsago.ThisisthehousewhereI

livedtwoyearsago.

Doyourememberthedayonwhichyoujoinedourclub?Doyourememberthe

daywhenyoujoinedourclub?

as,which引導(dǎo)的非限定性定語從句

由as,which引導(dǎo)的非限定性定語從句,as和which可代整個主句,相當于and

this或andthatoAs一般放在句首,which在句中。

Asweknow,smokingisharmfultoone,shealth.

Thesunheatstheearth,whichisveryimportanttous.

典型例題

1)Alicereceivedaninvitationfromherboss,__cameasasurprise.A.it

B.thatC.whichD.he

答案C.此為非限定性從句,不能用that修飾,而用which.,it和he都使后句成

為句子,兩個獨立的句子不能單以逗號連接。況且選he句意不通。

2)Theweatherturnedouttobeverygood,__wasmorethanwecould

expect.A.whatB.whichC.thatD.it

答案B。which可代替句子,用于非限定性定語從句,而what不可。That不能用于非

限定性定語從句,it不為連詞,使由逗號連接的兩個句子并在一起在英語語法上行不

通。

3)Itrainedhardyesterday,preventedmefromgoingtothepark..A.

thatB.whichC.asD.it答案B.

as和which在引導(dǎo)非限制性定語從句時,這兩個關(guān)系代詞都指主句所表達的整個意思,

且在定語從句中都可以作主語和賓語。但不同之處主要有兩點:

(1)as引導(dǎo)的定語從句可置于句首,而which不可。

(2)as代表前面的整個主句并在從句中作主語時,從句中的謂語必須是系動詞;若

為行為動詞,則從句中的關(guān)系代詞只能用which.。在本題中,prevent由于是行為動

詞,所以正確選項應(yīng)為B。

As的用法

例1.thesame…as;such…as中的as是一種固定結(jié)構(gòu),和...一樣。

Ihavegotintothesametroubleashe(has).例2.as可引導(dǎo)非限制性從句,

常帶有‘正如'。

Asweknow,smokingisharmfultoone'shealth.Asisknown,smokingis

harmfultoone'shealth.

As是關(guān)系代詞。例1中的as作know的賓語;例2中,它充當從句的主語,謂語動詞

know要用被動式。

關(guān)系代詞that的用法

1)不用that的情況

a)在引導(dǎo)非限定性定語從句時。

(錯)Thetree,thatisfourhundredyearsold,isveryfamoushere,b)介詞

后不能用。

Wedependonthelandfromwhichwegetourfood.

Wedependonthelandthat/whichwegetourfoodfrom.2)只能用that作為定

語從句的關(guān)系代詞的情況

a)在therebe句型中,只用that,不用which。

b)在不定代詞,如:anything,nothing,theone,all,much,few,any,

little等作先行詞時,只用that,不用which。

c)先行詞有theonly,thevery修飾時,只用that。d)先行詞為序數(shù)詞、數(shù)詞、

形容詞最高級時,只用that。.e)先行詞既有人,又有物時。

舉例:

Allthatisneededisasupplyofoil.所需的只是供油問題。

Finally,thethiefhandedeverythingthathehadstolentothepolice.

那賊最終把偷的全部東西交給了警察

高中英語定語從句解題六關(guān)

定語從句是中學英語語法中的重點內(nèi)容,也是高考中??疾榈囊粋€考點。掌握定語從句的用法,必

須突破以下六道難關(guān):

—.選準關(guān)系代詞和關(guān)系副詞

在定語從句中,關(guān)系代詞或關(guān)系副詞都代替先行詞在從句中充當一定的成分,如果該從句中缺少主

語、表語、賓語或定語,就要用關(guān)系代詞來連接從句;如果從句中缺少狀語,就得用關(guān)系副詞來連

接從句。例如

(1)Istillrememberthedayswhich/thatwespenttogether.(2)Istillremember

thedayswhenweworkedtogether.

二.了解僅用that引導(dǎo)限制性定語從句的幾種情況

that在限制性定語從句中既可指人又可指事或物。在下列情況下,只能用that來引導(dǎo)定語從句:

1.先行詞是all,much,few,little,everything,anything,nothing等不定代詞時。

例如:

Isthereanythingthatyouwanttobuy?

2.先行詞被all,few,little,much,every,some,no等詞修飾或被theonly,the

very,thesame,thelast等限定詞修飾時。例如:TheseareallthepicturesthatI

haveseen.

Thisistheverydictionarythatisofgreathelp.3.先行詞既指人又指物時。例如:

Myfatherandhisteachertalkedalotaboutthethingsandthepersonsthatthey

couldremember.

4.關(guān)系代詞在定語從句中作表語時。例如:

Ourschoolisnottheonethatitusedtobe.5.先行詞被形容詞最高級或序數(shù)詞修飾時。

例如:

ThisisthebestEnglishfilmthatIhaveeverseen.

ThefirstEnglishnovelthatIreadwasATaleofTwoCities.6.主句是who或which

引導(dǎo)的特殊問句時。例如:

Whoisthegirlthatisstandingunderthetree?Whichisthemachinethatweused

lastSunday?

三.把握“介詞+關(guān)系代詞”結(jié)構(gòu)中介詞的選用

介詞的選擇與主句中先行詞的搭配密切相關(guān)。例如:That”sthereasonforwhichhewas

lateforschool.

ThisisthebookonwhichIspent8yuan.注意:

1.定語從句中謂語動詞是含有介詞的動詞短語時,介詞應(yīng)放在動詞之后,不能拆開放在關(guān)系代詞

前。例如:

Thisisthekeywhichyouarelookingfor.Thisisthebabywhomyouwilllookafter.

2.該結(jié)構(gòu)中,關(guān)系代詞指人時用whom,指物時用which.

四.弄清as和which引導(dǎo)的非限制性定語從句指代整體時的區(qū)別

1.位置上的區(qū)別:as引導(dǎo)的非限制性定語從句的位置比較靈活,可以放在主句前,也可以放在主

句后,還可插在主句的中間;而which引導(dǎo)的非限制性定語從句只能放在主句之后。例如:

Asisknowntousall,theearthturnsaroundthesun.Theearth,asisknownto

usall,turnsaroundthesun.Theearthturnsaroundthesun,asisknowntous

all.

Theearthturnsaroundthesun,whichourparentsoncetolduswhenwewerevery

young.

2.詞義與聯(lián)系上的區(qū)別:as引導(dǎo)的非限制性定語從句與主句之間有著較為密切的上下文聯(lián)系,as

本身含有“正如”之意;而which引導(dǎo)的非限制性定語從句與主句之間在邏輯意義上近似并列句,

which本身表示"這"或“這一點”之意。例如:Lighttravelsfasterthansound,aswe

allknow.

Jackcamelateforschool,whichmadehisteacherangry.

五.注意定語從句的主謂一致性

關(guān)系代詞在定語從句中作主語時,從句的謂語必須與先行詞保持人稱和數(shù)的一致。例如:Tomis

oneoftheboyswhoarefromtheUSA.

TomistheonlyoneofthetheboyswhoisfromtheUSA.

六.保持主句的完整性并避免從句成分的重疊

1.在定語從句中,不管出現(xiàn)任何情況,主句的結(jié)構(gòu)必須完整,即主句必須有主語和謂語,缺一不

可,否則,整個主從復(fù)合句就無法成立。試比較:

(1)Isthisfactorywevisitedlastweek?(2)Isthisthefactory

wevisitedlastweek?A.whichB.whereC.whatD.theone分析:

第一題缺少表語,只有填D項才能保持主句的完整性,而其他的選項均為干擾項。

第二題主句本身完整,應(yīng)填的關(guān)系代詞在從句中作visited的賓語,故應(yīng)選A項。

2.從定語從句中,關(guān)系代詞或關(guān)系副詞已經(jīng)代替先行詞獨立地或與相應(yīng)的介詞一起在定語從句中

充當了一定的成分,因此在定語從句中就不能再出現(xiàn)與關(guān)系代(副)詞重疊的成分。例如:

錯句:IsthisthetrainthattheytookitlastSunday?

分析:該題中that已經(jīng)代替先行詞thetrain在定語從句中充當及物動詞took的賓語,故重疊

出現(xiàn)的賓語it必須刪去??傊?,只要突破了以上六道難關(guān),定語從句中的難題便會迎刃而解
