Pakistan,officiallytheIslamicRepublicofPakistan,isacountrylocatedinSouthAsia.Itistheworld'sfifthmostpopulouscountrywithapopulationexceeding225millionpeople.PakistansharesborderswithIndiatotheeast,Afghanistantothewest,Irantothesouthwest,andChinatothenorth.Thecountry'scapitalandlargestcityisIslamabad,whileKarachiisthemostpopulouscity.

Pakistan'seducationsystemisalsodiverse,withbothpublicandprivateinstitutionsofferingawiderangeofprograms.Thecountryhasseveralprestigiousuniversities,includingtheUniversityofKarachi,theLahoreUniversityofManagementSciences,andtheNationalUniversityofSciencesandTechnology.Theseinstitutionsattractstudentsfromallovertheworld,andcontributetothecountry'sgrowingreputationasacenterofhighereducation.

Pakistan'shealthcaresystemisalsoimproving,withthegovernmentinvestingheavilyintheconstructionofnewhospitalsandclinics.
