rightfulowners.However,whatstartedasaheateddecisiontobringjusticeturnedintoacausethathada

tremendouslypositivebutterflyeffectonthetown.

The44-year-oldhashelpedtoreturnhundredsofbikesoverthepast4yearsanddevelopedareputation

amongReykjavikscyclistcommunityandevenpotentialbikethievesasthe“bikewhisperer95.HisFacebookpage

hasmorethan14,500membersandhelpspeopletrackdownmorethanjustlostbikes.Hispageextendstopeople

whohavelosttools,carsandotheritemsofhighvalue.

InitiallyLeossonwouldconfrontthethieveswithanger.However,overtime,herealisedthatthevastmajority

ofthetheftsweredrivenoutofaddictionsandotherissues.Hewentfromfeelingnegativelytowardsthethievesto

understandingtheirfeelingsandproblems:
