Directions:

1.Preheatovento375°F.Lineabakingsheetwithparchmentpaper.

2.Inamedium-sizedbowl,whisktogethertheCoca-Cola,soysauce,brownsugar,garlic,ginger,andblackpepper.

3.Putthechickenwingsinalargeresealableplasticbag.PourtheCoca-Colamixtureoverthechickenwings.Sealthebag,makingsurethatthechickenwingsarecoatedwiththemixture.Marinatethechickenwingsintherefrigeratorforatleast30minutes,oruptoovernight.

4.Takethechickenwingsoutoftheplasticbagandplacethemonthelinedbakingsheet.Bakefor45-50minutes,oruntilthechickenwingsaregoldenbrownandcrisp.Turnthewingsoverhalfwaythroughcooking.

5.Meanwhile,makethedippingsauce.Inasmallsaucepan,mixcornstarchandwateruntilfullycombined.AddtheremainingCoca-Colamixturefromtheplasticbagtothesaucepan.Heatthemixtureovermediumheatandstirconstantlyuntilthesaucethickens,about5minutes.Removefromheat.
