第11講定語(yǔ)從句1.掌握定語(yǔ)從句的基本構(gòu)成及重點(diǎn)用法;2.能在具體的語(yǔ)境中靈活運(yùn)用本節(jié)課的內(nèi)容。定語(yǔ)從句的先行詞和關(guān)系詞在復(fù)合句中作定語(yǔ),修飾主句或主句中某一名詞或代詞的從句叫定語(yǔ)從句。定語(yǔ)從句由關(guān)系詞引導(dǎo)。限制性定語(yǔ)從句表現(xiàn)為在意義上是先行詞不可缺少的定語(yǔ),若省略,主句的內(nèi)容就不完整或失去意義;它和主句的關(guān)系十分密切,不可用逗號(hào)分開(kāi)。先行詞是被定語(yǔ)從句修飾的名詞或代詞。關(guān)系詞指代先行詞,在從句中作一定的句子成分。引導(dǎo)定語(yǔ)從句的關(guān)系代詞有which,that,who,whom,whose,as等。關(guān)系代詞指代在定從中所做成分是否可省略that人;物主語(yǔ);賓語(yǔ)作賓語(yǔ)可省which物主語(yǔ);賓語(yǔ)作賓語(yǔ)可省who人主語(yǔ);賓語(yǔ)作賓語(yǔ)可省whom人賓語(yǔ)可省whose人;物定語(yǔ)不可省as人;物主語(yǔ);賓語(yǔ);表語(yǔ)不可省定語(yǔ)從句的先行詞先行詞是定語(yǔ)從句修飾和限定的成分,從構(gòu)成上而言,它可以是名詞、代詞、名詞性短語(yǔ)等;從句子成分上而言,它可以是主句的主語(yǔ)、賓語(yǔ)、表語(yǔ)等。下面,我們從兩個(gè)實(shí)例來(lái)看一下定語(yǔ)從句及其相關(guān)成分的分布:常見(jiàn)關(guān)系代詞的基本用法1.that可指人或物;在定語(yǔ)從句中作主語(yǔ),賓語(yǔ),表語(yǔ)。指人時(shí),相當(dāng)于who或whom;指物時(shí),相當(dāng)于which。不能引導(dǎo)非限制性定語(yǔ)從句;不可置于介詞后作賓語(yǔ)。2.which指物;在定語(yǔ)從句中作主語(yǔ),賓語(yǔ)。如:Thebookwhich/thatwasonthedeskwasboughtbymyfather.(主語(yǔ))3.who,whom,whose(1)who:主格,在從句中作主語(yǔ),只可指人(2)whom:賓格,在從句中只能作賓語(yǔ);只可指人whose:表所屬關(guān)系,在從句中作定語(yǔ)。譯為:某人的,某物的(4)whose+名詞=the+n.+ofwhich(某物的)=he+n.+ofwhom(某人的)注意:=1\*GB3①關(guān)系代詞作介詞賓語(yǔ)(在定語(yǔ)從句中,介詞提前時(shí),介詞后:表人用whom;表物用which)②關(guān)系代詞在定語(yǔ)從句中用作介詞賓語(yǔ)時(shí),介詞可放于從句之首,也可放于從句之末。但以放于句首較為正式。(介詞前置,必須注意不影響動(dòng)詞詞組的含義。關(guān)系代詞who和that用作介詞賓語(yǔ)時(shí),介詞必須放在句末。)只能用that,不能用which的情況(1)先行詞是all,something,everything,anything,nothing,little,much,few等不定代詞或先行詞被all,any,every,no,little,much,some等詞修飾。Allthepeoplethatcomefromthecountryworkmuchharder.所有來(lái)自農(nóng)村的人工作都更努力得多。(2)先行詞被序數(shù)詞、形容詞最高級(jí)、theonly,thevery,thelast等修飾時(shí),關(guān)系代詞通常只用that,不用which。如:ThefirstEnglishnovelthatIreadwasCities.我讀的第一本英文小說(shuō)是《城市》。ThisisoneofthemostexcitingfootballgamesthatIhaveeverseen.這是我見(jiàn)過(guò)的最激動(dòng)人心的足球比賽之一。Thisistheonlythingthatwecandonow.這是我們現(xiàn)在惟一能做的事情。(3)先行詞既有人又有物時(shí),關(guān)系代詞只用that,不用which。如:Thescientistandhisachievementsthatyoutoldmeaboutareadmiredbyusall.我們所有人都?xì)J佩你告訴我的那位科學(xué)家和他所取得的成就。TheforeignvisitorsspokehighlyofthepioneersandtheirperformancesthattheysawattheChildren’sPalace.外國(guó)游客高度贊揚(yáng)了他們?cè)谏倌陮m所看到的少先隊(duì)員以及他們的表演。(4)關(guān)系代詞在限定性定語(yǔ)從句中作表語(yǔ)并帶有類(lèi)比含義時(shí),通常只用that,不用which。如:Heisnolongerthestarthathewas.他不再是過(guò)去的那位明星了。Ourschoolisnolongertheschoolthatitusedtobe.我們的學(xué)校不再是以前的那所學(xué)校了。(5)句中其他位置已出現(xiàn)which,為避免重復(fù),不用which而用that引導(dǎo)限定性定語(yǔ)從句。如:Whichisthecarthathasovertakenus?超過(guò)我們的是哪輛車(chē)?1.(2023·黑龍江·統(tǒng)考中考真題)—Whatcanwedofortheleft-homechildren________needhelp?—Wecouldhelpthemwiththeirstudyonlineonweekends.A.which
