交際英語2CommunicativeEnglishII課程基本信息課程編號:15002216課程總學時:16實驗學時:0學時課程性質(zhì):公共基礎必修課課程屬性:素質(zhì)類開設學期:第2學期適用專業(yè):非英語專業(yè)一年級本科生對先修的要求:無對后續(xù)的支撐:無一、課程的教學理念、性質(zhì)、目標和任務1.教學理念《交際英語》是一門以外語教學理論為指導,以英語語言知識與應用技能、跨文化交際和學習策略為主要內(nèi)容,并融合多種教學模式和教學手段為一體的教學體系。2.課程性質(zhì)《交際英語》是為非英語專業(yè)一年級本科學生開設的一門公共基礎必修課,旨在通過聽、說、讀、寫、譯的綜合訓練,逐步提高學生運用英語進行交際的能力。3.教學目標和任務通過本門課程的學習,使學生掌握英語的交際能力,即英語的語言能力,包括語音、語法和詞匯;英語的實用能力,即認識英語實際使用的規(guī)矩,了解英語語篇結(jié)構(gòu)的知識及掌握英語的交際策略和英語的認知和感受能力。學生通過大量真實、自然的交際活動,如對子活動、小組討論、角色扮演等,能更主動、靈活、深刻地掌握英語的交際能力。本課程提供多種類型的交際活動,如聽力(聽大意、細節(jié)、態(tài)度及語言)、口語(對子活動、對話、小組討論、辯論及角色扮演等)、閱讀(讀大意、細節(jié))、寫作(通知、口信、信、新聞及文章)和翻譯(口譯)。教材使用的語言材料真實自然,涉及日常生活中的多個方面:社會、政治、環(huán)境、教育、體育、住房、節(jié)假日及風俗習慣等。此外,教師在教授該課程過程中增加的中國文化元素能幫助學生自主進行中西方文化對比,拓展的課程思政元素有利于提升學生用英語講好中國故事的能力。二、課程教學的基本要求1.教師加大語言的輸入量,語言的輸入量要大于學生的語言練習量,確保學生能聽懂英語授課,能聽懂日常英語談話和一般性題材講座,能基本聽懂英語國家中速英語節(jié)目,掌握大意并抓住中心要點。2.教師增加學生練習英語的時間,設定具體的題目和場景,組織演講、辯論和討論等活動。讓學生能用英語就一般性話題進行比較流利的會話,能基本表達個人意見、情感、觀點等,能基本陳述事實、理由和描述事件,表達清楚,語音、語調(diào)基本正確。教師在課上展開各種形式的個人、雙人、小組活動,促進師生、生生之間的情感交流。此外,教師要對學生的活動要及時給予反饋,提高學生練習的質(zhì)量。3.通過線上線下混合式教學,自主學習能力提升。通過小組合作等形式,養(yǎng)成團隊合作意識,最終實現(xiàn)能用順利組織語言,推介中國文化,講述中國故事。三、課程的教學設計1.教學設計說明教學內(nèi)容:《交際英語II》中設計了大量的、多樣的聽(包括聽大意、態(tài)度、具體細節(jié)等)、說(包括兩人對練、對話、小組討論、角色扮演、辯論等)、讀(包括讀大意、具體信息、速讀、尋讀等)、寫(包括寫留言、啟示、書信、短文、評論、新聞報道等)等符合現(xiàn)實生活交際需要的交際活動,語言材料真實,內(nèi)容涉及英語國家和中國人現(xiàn)實生活中的各個方面.包括見面會客、日常生活、描述物品、談論人物、描述地點、行為處事、展望未來、談論過去等八個單元。教學過程中,學生處于活動的中心,教師輔助指導、組織、參與交際活動,并在活動之后在語言方面進行總結(jié)。所有活動都編織在用目的語進行交際的一個靈活的、動態(tài)的、持續(xù)不停的進程中。教學策略:制定有利于學生個性化學習方法的形成和學生自主學習能力的發(fā)展,應以現(xiàn)代信息技術(shù)、特別是網(wǎng)絡技術(shù)為支撐,使大學英語教學朝著個性化學習、不受時間和地點限制的學習、主動式的學習方向發(fā)展,應體現(xiàn)英語教學的實用性、文化性和趣味性相融合的原則,應能充分調(diào)動教師和學生兩個方面的積極性,確立學生在英語教學中的主體地位。教學方法:本課程提供多種類型的交際活動,如聽力(聽大意、細節(jié)、態(tài)度及語言)、口語(對子活動、對話、小組討論、辯論及角色扮演等)、閱讀(讀大意、細節(jié))、寫作(通知、口信、信、新聞及文章)和翻譯(口譯)。教材使用的語言材料真實自然,涉及日常生活中的多個方面:社會、政治、環(huán)境、教育、體育、住房、節(jié)假日及風俗習慣等。教學過程:(1)創(chuàng)設情境,引出課程;(2)引導學生理解課程內(nèi)容;(3)組織學生進行交際實踐;(4)課堂教學評價和反饋。教學評價:運用多種評價方法與手段,處理好內(nèi)部評價與外部評價、形成性評價與終結(jié)性評價之間的關(guān)系,實現(xiàn)從傳統(tǒng)的“對課程結(jié)果的終結(jié)性評價”向“促進課程發(fā)展的形成性評價”轉(zhuǎn)變。每一位課程參與者都是評價的主體。2.課程目標及對畢業(yè)要求的支撐序號課程目標畢業(yè)要求11.課程目標與畢業(yè)要求是否有效對接?(一個課程目標不要同時覆蓋多個不同類型畢業(yè)要求,1個畢業(yè)要求指標點不要牽涉過多課程目標)2.課程目標是否合理表述?(課程目標的內(nèi)涵應體現(xiàn)畢業(yè)要求指標點的要求,準確表達學生通過課程學習所獲得的解決問題的能力而非知識掌握要求。應按照學生能力形成的邏輯關(guān)系,由淺入深的“縱向”分解,不宜按照教材章節(jié)“橫向”切割,籠統(tǒng)描述。根據(jù)畢業(yè)要求指標點的要求,結(jié)合課程內(nèi)容,設計邏輯關(guān)系清晰的課程目標,以便于指導課程考核與評價,為畢業(yè)要求指標點評價提供有效數(shù)據(jù)。12目標2:能用英語就一般性話題進行比較流利的會話,能基本表達個人意見、情感、觀點等,能基本陳述事實、理由和描述事件,表達清楚,語音、語調(diào)基本正確。23目標3:使學生具有一定的國際視野,能夠了解專業(yè)領域的國際發(fā)展趨勢與新的研究熱點,并能在跨文化背景下使用一門外語清晰的陳述和回答問題,解釋和尊重世界不同文化的差異性和多樣性。34目標4:通過課程的學習,具有自主學習和終身學習的意識,掌握拓展知識和能力的基本方法和途徑。四、理論教學內(nèi)容及學時分配(16學時)UnitOneGrowingPains學時數(shù):2第一節(jié)(1學時)教學目標:--Thecourseistohelpthelearnersacquirecommunicativecompetence(whichiscomposedoflinguistic,pragmatic,andcognitiveandaffectivecompetence)throughvariedcommunicativeactivities.--Thelearnersareencouragedtogetinvolvedinvariouskindsofcommunicativeactivitieswhicharecloselyinlinewithreal-likesituations.--ThelearnersareexpectedtomastertheessentialcommunicativeskillsinthetargetlanguageandtomeettherequirementsoftheNationalSyllabusconcerningthedevelopmentofthe4languageskills.教學重點和難點:--listeningforgistandspecificinformation;groupdiscussion.--grasptheintonationmeaningindifferentcontext.主要教學內(nèi)容及要求:PartIWarming-upSectionOneTopic-relatedQuotesSectionTwoDiscussionSectionsThreeListenandMatchPartIIListeningSectionOneListenforPronunciationSkillsSectionTwoFurtherListening教學組織與實施:--introducethebackgroundinformationaboutGrowingPains.--analyzevariouschangesindifferentperiodsofgrowing-upanditsrelevantcauses.--carryoutthegroupdiscussion.--grasptheintonationmeaningindifferentcontext.--improvethelisteningskills.
