考點(diǎn)2并列連詞and,but,or和so的用法

1.and的用法。

(1)and意為“和,又”,表示并列關(guān)系,用來連接表示對等成分的單詞、短語或者句子。例如:Lilyand

Iarestudents.

(2)and除了表示并列關(guān)系,還表示目的和結(jié)果等關(guān)系。例如:Theweatherisniceandwefeelwarm.

2.but的用法。

but意為“但是",表示轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)系,連接意思相反的成分。例如:Lilyisastudent,butTmnotastudent.

3.or的用法。

(1)or意為"或者”,表示選擇關(guān)系。例如:Youcangowithmeoryoucanstayathome.

(2)or用于否定句中,表示"也不"。例如:Ican'tspeakFrenchorSpanish.

(3)在英語中,“祈使句+or+簡單句”是一種常見句型。在該句型中,or意為“否則”。祈使句相當(dāng)于一個

條件,可以和由if引導(dǎo)的條件狀語從句進(jìn)行轉(zhuǎn)換。例如:Wemusthurryorwecan9tcatchthebus.

4.so的用法。

so意為“因此,所以“,表示因果關(guān)系,用來連接兩個簡單句。例如:Therainbegantofall,sowewenthome.

注意:

連詞so和because不能用在同一個句子中。

考點(diǎn)3辨析both,either與neither

1.both...and...意為“連接兩個主語時,謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式。

2.either...or...意為“工連接兩個主語時,謂語動詞遵循就近原則。

3.neither...nor...意為“連接兩個主語時,謂語動詞遵循就近原則。

4.bothof意為"”,謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式。

考點(diǎn)6puton,wear與dress表示“穿”的用法區(qū)別

1.wear表示“穿著,戴著”的狀態(tài)。當(dāng)用現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時時,表示目前暫時的情況。例如:Hewaswearingabrown

uniform.

2.puton表示“穿上,戴上“,強(qiáng)調(diào)穿的動作。例如:Sheputonhercoatandwentout.

3.dress用來表示“穿,戴”時,既可指動作,又可指狀態(tài)。

(1)作及物動詞時,直接對象是人(賓語通常是人稱代詞或反身代詞)。例如:Shebathedheranddressed

考點(diǎn)7辨析whether與if

1.whether和if都可以引導(dǎo)賓語從句,意為“是否”,一般情況下可以互換。

2.與ornot連用時,用whether而不用if。

3.if有“如果”之意,whether沒有。

wouldrather意為“寧愿,更喜歡”,可縮寫成-,drather。would在此結(jié)構(gòu)中無人稱、數(shù)和時態(tài)的變化。常

三.語法考點(diǎn)

賓語從句

賓語從句,是名詞性從句的一種。在主從復(fù)合句中充當(dāng)賓語,位于及物動詞、介詞或復(fù)合謂語之后的從句稱為

賓語從句。賓語從句分為三類:動詞的賓語從句,介詞的賓語從句和形容詞的賓語從句。

一、動詞的賓語從句

1.連詞that,if/whether引導(dǎo)的賓語從句

that,whether/if起連接作用,不作任何成分。that無實(shí)義,可省略;

Whether/if意為“是否”,不可省略。

Hesaid(that)hecouldn*tfinishhisworkbeforedusk.他說黃昏之前他完不成任務(wù)。

Nobodyknowswhether/ifhelikesschoolornot.沒有人知道他是否喜歡上學(xué)。

注意:whether/if都意為〃是否〃。一般情況下,可互換,口語中常用if,

但在以下情況中,只能用whether:

1)與ornot緊接連用時。如:Letmeknowwhetherornotyoucancome.

2)作介詞的賓語從句時。如:Weareinterestedinwhetheryouwillattendthemeeting.

3)引導(dǎo)主語從句、表語從句與同位語從句時

4)在動詞不定式前時。如:Idon'tknowwhethertogo.

2.連接代詞引導(dǎo)的賓語從句

who,what,which,等引導(dǎo)賓語從句,在賓語從句中充當(dāng)主語、賓語、表語、定語等成分,不省略。

Doyouknowwhoisinchargeofthecompany?你知道誰負(fù)責(zé)這家公司嗎?(作主語)

Canyoutellmewhichboyisyourson?你能告訴我哪個是你兒子嗎?(作定語)

Whatdoyouthinkhisjobis?你認(rèn)為他是干什么工作的?(作表語)

3.連接副詞引導(dǎo)的賓語從句

when,where,why,how,等引導(dǎo)賓語從句,并且在賓語從句中充當(dāng)狀語,表示時間、地點(diǎn)、原因、方式等。

Thepoliceaskedmehowtheaccidenthappened.警察問我事故是怎么發(fā)生的。(方式狀語)

Idon'tknowwhenwewillmeetagain.我不知道我們何時才能再見面。(時間狀語)

DoyouknowwhereMr.Brownlives?你知道布朗先生住在哪兒嗎?(地點(diǎn)狀語)

三、形容詞后的賓語從句(系表結(jié)構(gòu)可以看做復(fù)合謂語)

I'msorryI'mlate.(對不起,我遲到了。)

I'mafraidheisn'tinatthemoment.(恐怕他止匕亥不在家。)

賓語從句注意事項(xiàng)

⑴賓語從句的語序:在賓語從句中要用陳述句語序。

Heaskedmewhenwecouldsetoutthenextday.他問我第二天什么時候可以出發(fā)。

Didyoufindoutwhereshelosthercar?你查出她在哪里丟的車了嗎?

(2)賓語從句的時態(tài):

1)如果主句的謂語是一般現(xiàn)在時,其賓語從句的時態(tài)可以是任何適當(dāng)?shù)臅r態(tài)。

Shesays(that)sheworksfromMondaytoFriday.她說她周一至周五上班。(從句時一般現(xiàn)在時)

Shesays(that)shewillleaveamessageonhisdesk.她說要在桌子上留個便條。(從句是一般將來時)

Shesays(that)shehasneverbeentoMountEmei.她說她從來沒有去過峨眉山。(從句是現(xiàn)在完成時)

2)如果主句的謂語是一般過去時,其賓語從句的時態(tài)一般要用適當(dāng)?shù)倪^去時態(tài)(客觀真理、事實(shí)除外)

Hesaidtherewerenoclassesyesterdayafternoon.他說昨天下午沒有課。(從句是一般過去時)

Hesaidthathewasgoingtotakecareofthebaby.他說他會去照看這個嬰兒。

Hesaidthattheywerehavingameetingatthattime.他說他們那時正在開會。(從句是過去進(jìn)行時)

Hesaidthatlighttravelsmuchfasterthansound.他說光比聲傳播得快。

賓語從句時態(tài)口訣:“主過從必過,主現(xiàn)從不限”

⑶賓語從句的否定轉(zhuǎn)移(否前不否后)
