The volunteering spirit has spread among the Chinese people in recent years, especially among young people. Volunteering is of tremendous benefits to both those in need and society Take the Wenchuan Earthquake as an example. Hundreds of thousands of volunteers play an active role in Wenchuan quake-hit areas. And they contribute daily necessaries, offer medical help and psychological help to the disaster-relief work. Besides, volunteering would be beneficial to the volunteers themselves. Getting involved in volunteering, volunteers will be exposed to a new environment, and they can learn how to work well in a team, how to improve their interpersonal skills and organizational skills, all of which are critical for their professional growth. As a college student, I sincerely hope that everyone would join the volunteering work. It is not only good to our society, but also a chance for us to grow and to learn. On Job-hunting Priorities When a graduate hunts for a job, he has to take the priority issue of a few significant factors into consideration, such as the pay, the specific field, and the location. Graduates give priority to different elements. Some graduates think the pay should take the first place, since they have been spending the money of the family all the time, and its time to do something as the reward to other family members. Besides, a high pay usually means a relatively high position in the company. Some would their major as the No. 1 element, or it would be a big waste of what they have learned in college. Meanwhile, the major chosen for college most of the time reflects their interest and preference. Still others offer the pride of place to the location of the job. They believe big cities like Beijing or Shanghai will provide more opportunities, or a place close to hometown will furnish more convenience between the graduate and his family since most families now have one child only. As to me ,the ideal is the three elements combined together. But when I have to take a choice, l would pick up the best choice close to my family since “ East, west, home is the best” 1. Vocational education or college education ? The number of people who take the college entrance examination has been decreasing these years. Some people consider vocational education an advantage to job-hunting, while others argue that a college diploma is more important. ln my opinion, college education is more advisable or most people. 4lFirst, college education is systematic and students can learn a lot in many aspects. Unlike vocational, which always focuses on just one job skill, college education enables students to develop different po-tentials.15lSecond, to obtain a higher degree, such as a masters degree, one has to go through college education to a bachelors degree first. In a society where any job skill may become outdate-ed quickly with the appearance of new technologies, the limitations of vocational education prove even more serious. Only college education can prepare us for future challenges. Living alone or Living with Roommates Nowadays, there has appeared a heated discussion (有激烈的討論)among the college students as to whether they should live off campus (住在校外)or live together with other roommates in the students dormitory. Opinions vary from person to person. Those who are in favor of (支持)Living alone maintain (主張,認為)that it is very convenient to live by themselves. They can enjoy absolute freedom (享受充分的自由)in a room of their own (屬于他們自己的). They can have their own timetable (時間表)without disturbing (打擾)others. But others argue that living with roommates has attractions of its own . With several students sharing (共有)the same room, each persons experiences can be greatly enriched (極大的豐富). They can learn a lot from talking to each other. Moreover,by learning to tolerate (忍受)the differences between individuals, they can become more mature (成熟的).As far as Im concerned, I prefer to live with roommates because I love the sense of belonging (歸屬感). Besides, live in a dorm can help save a large sum of money (節(jié)約很多錢).last but not least, living on campus can help me save a great deal of time on the way between dwelling and school( 住處和學校) , which means that I can concentrate more time and energy on (將更多的時間和精力集中于)my studies. Currently,the frequent job-hopping of graduates has aroused wide concern among the public. Does anyone hold the same attitude toward this phenomenon? Definitely not. As to this issue, opinions vary from person to person. Those who hold the opinion that job-hopping is beneficial to graduates claim that by doing so, the youngsters are more likely to (更有可能)have a better knowledge of (更了解)other fields and then to expand their horizons(開闊視野). Moreover, changing jobs frequently offers workers a chance to move up to a better position(到更好的工作崗位). However, others take a totally different view that job-hopping is detrimental to ones career development. For one thing, as the common saying goes,a rolling stone gathers no moss. (滾石不生苔)The more frequent you change your job, the less likely you are to be an expert in a particular area.(在某個特定的領域) Secondly, this behavior will leave on the employers an impression of (給雇主留下印象)instability and immaturity(不穩(wěn)定和不成熟). It is no wonder that ,when interviewing a candidate, a employer will raise a question (提問) likeyouve changed jobs quite frequently. How do we know youll stay if we hire you? From my perspective, frequent job-hopping would not necessarily be a bad thing.(并非是件壞事) it may offer them a broader space for career development. When people join a company, the brand new working environment, new colleagues and new enterprise cultural atmosphere (企業(yè)文化氛圍) will definitely motivate their enthusiasm for (激發(fā)他們的工作熱情) the new job and thus, prompt their career to a new level.(讓職業(yè)生涯更上一個臺階) thus, I will try several posts before finding the one that is perfectly fit for me and after that I will remain in the post and spare no efforts to have it well done(竭盡全力將工作做好). In recent years, college students find it increasingly difficult to get a decent (良好的) job. It sounds strange for the reason that (因為) young college students are usually intelligent, well-educated and aspirant (有抱負的).Then what underlies the strange phenomenon?(這種奇怪的現(xiàn)象背后暗含著什么)There are several reasons for this. To begin with, nowadays college students aim too high. All they want are good jobs which could offer decent salaries, comfortable working conditions and high social status.(高收入,舒適的工作環(huán)境和高地位) Consequently, most college students would rather stay at home doing nothing and waiting for their ideal jobs. Another reason is that many colleges and universities fail to adapt their majors to (使課程適應于)the rapid development and growing demand of economy. So companies find that students are usually not fit for(適合)their positions.Considering the seriousness (考慮到嚴重性)of unemployment of college students, I think it is high time that we should (我們是時候了)take effective measures to solve the problem. Above all, college students should realize their own defects (缺點)and further (adv.進一步地)improve themselves to keep their competitive edge (競爭優(yōu)勢)in society. Moreover, colleges or universities should provide more trainings and internship (培訓和實習)opportunities before the students enter society. Besides, college students should hold a right attitude towards jobs and set their job expectations at a suitable and rational level(合適而理智的). Only through these ways can the college students find a satisfactory and ideal job and have a brighter future. 2、我認為這股熱潮的原因是.3、我對網(wǎng)絡教育的評價the newly-coined wordonline educationmay by no means(不) sound strange to most people. During the past several years, hundreds of online education colleges have sprung up (涌現(xiàn))around China. Why could online education be so popular in such a short period of time?(短時間內(nèi))For one thing, If we want to catch up with the development and the great pace of (快的步伐) modern society, we all should possess an urgent and strong desire (急切而強烈的欲望)to study, while most people nowadays are under so enormous pressures that (處在如此大的壓力下以至于) they can hardly have time and energy (時間和精力)to study full time at school. Furthermore, online education enables them to save a great deal of time on the way spent on the way between home and school. Last but not least, the quick (快速的)development of internet, which makes possible (使之成為可能)all our dreams of attending class on the net, should also be another critical(關鍵的) reason.Personally, I appreciate this new form of education. Its indeed a helpful complement (補充)to the traditional educational means(方式,方法). It can provide different learners with more flexible and various(靈活多樣的) ways to learn. Most of all, through online education, we can stick to our jobs and at the same time study and absorb the latest knowledge. There is a growing tendency nowadays that children in mounting numbers own mobile phones. Does anyone hold the same attitude towards this phenomenon? Definitely not. Actually, opinions vary from person to person. Some emphasize the merits(優(yōu)點) of childrens using mobile phones, they hold that children can contact with their parents or friends conveniently especially when they are confronted with (面對)difficulties or dangers. Moreover, mobile phones equipped with (裝配有)various interesting games are also a convenient source of recreation and relaxation (娛樂和放松的來源)for children who have been under an enormous pressures from an overload of studies (承擔過量學業(yè)的壓力). On the contrary, a majority of people hold that mobile phones are detrimental to (對有害)children. For one thing, childrens being addicted to (孩子們對的沉溺)mobile phones is nothing but a waste of their precious and limited time, which will definitely interfere with (影響)their studies. Additionally, radiation from mobile phone will exert a detrimental impact on (對產(chǎn)生有害的影響)childrens body health. From my perspective,it is not advisable that children should bring mobile phones. It is unbelievable that some students carry mobile phones just for the purpose of(目的)killing their precious time instead of keeping in touch with their parents regularly. The supposed helpful (本應該有利的)tool has become harmful. Accordingly, children should concen
