Unit 5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came第三課時Section A(Grammar Focus4c)【學習目標】1引導學生熟記并正確使用下列單詞和短語:have a look,icy,kid。2引導學生繼續(xù)學習如何正確使用過去進行時。3幫助學生理解并正確使用when和while,能夠正確利用when和while描述自己的日常生活?!緦W習重點】掌握在過去進行時中運用when和while,且能正確區(qū)分when和while?!緦W習難點】總結歸納when和while的區(qū)別。教師詢問一位或幾位學生他們的家人在過去的某個時間正在做的事情。T:What were you doing at nine oclock last Sunday morning?S:I was doing my homework.T:What about your mother?S:She was cleaning the house.Task 1【組內(nèi)小展示】先由各小組組長帶領組內(nèi)成員認讀單詞和詞組,再在整個小組內(nèi)進行齊讀后對詞匯的用法進行歸納,并標記出發(fā)音和理解困難的單詞,可及時向老師求助。最后,板書展示內(nèi)容。【班級大展示】1I can read.(我會讀)帶讀齊讀,注意icy的發(fā)音;通過游戲形式,如單詞游戲來鞏固單詞的學習。2I can write.(我會寫)以answer quickly(搶答)的方式對詞組進行中英互譯;帶讀齊讀;抽測:可以用造句的方式鞏固詞組的用法。3I can use.(我會用)比較when和while在過去進行時中的用法,并填空;抽測:用【小試牛刀】中的練習再講解。情景導入生成問題1(T)Question:What were you doing at nine oclock last Sunday morning?(S)Answer:_2(T)Question:What about your mother?(S)Answer:_自學互研生成能力Task 1Lets read the new words and phrases.1I can read.(我會讀)have a look,icy,kid2I can write.(我會寫)(1)begin to do sth.開始做某事 (2)help sb.do sth.幫助某人做某事 (3)help sb.with sth.在某方面幫助某人 (4)take photos 拍照片 (5)buy a drink 買飲料 (6)turn on the radio 打開收音機 (7)take the car to the car wash 把車送到洗車處 (8)wake up 喚醒 (9)make ones breakfast 做某人的早餐 (10)have a look 看一看 (11)be in bad shape 變形 (12)because of 因為;由于 3I can use.(我會用)辨析過去進行時中的when和while:when和while都可表示 “當?shù)臅r候”,引導時間狀語從句。但兩者在過去進行時中的用法有所不同。請仔細觀察下面的例句,然后補全空格中的內(nèi)容。(1)I was walking to school when I saw a cat in a tree.(2)When Sally arrived home,her mother was cleaning the house.主句的動作是持續(xù)性的,而從句的動作是短暫性的,此時when 引導時間狀語從句,主句用過去進行時態(tài),從句用一般過去時態(tài)。(3)While I was sleeping in the bedroom,someone knocked at the door.(4)David fell down while he was riding his bike.主句的動作是短暫性的,從句的動作是持續(xù)性的,此時 while 引導從句,主句用 一般過去 時態(tài),從句用過去進行時態(tài)。(5)While Andy was waiting for the bus,he was reading a newspaper.(6)He was cleaning his car while I was cooking.主句和從句的動作在過去的某時刻或某段時間同時發(fā)生,而且動作都是持續(xù)性的,此時用 while 引導從句,而且主句和從句都用過去進行時態(tài)。用when和while填空。We were talking when the teacher came into the classroom.I was doing my homework while my mother was cooking in the kitchen. While the boy was walking in the street,a UFO landed in front of him.
