Ill speak to him _ he arrives. B._ I arrived , he was talking on the phone. C._ I got there, he had already left. 從句也可接延續(xù)動詞，這時從句往往用過去進(jìn)行時表示某一段時間內(nèi)發(fā)生的動作。(在-期間) Eg .The doorbell rang when I was telephoning. when的常見的三個句型： Abe about to do sth when-I was about to go out when someone came.翻譯：_ B. was/were doing sth when- I was doing my homework when my good friend, Xiaoming, came.翻譯：_ C. had done sth when- I had finished my homework when my good friend, Xiaoming, came.翻譯：_ D.I was walking along the road suddenly someone patted me on the shoulder from behind.A. immediately B. when C.the moment D.while 2.While+延續(xù)性動詞： “在-期間”，表示某一時間內(nèi)發(fā)生的動作。 Eg:_I was reading, he came in. 3.As+延續(xù)性動詞/非延續(xù)性動詞:“一邊一邊，隨著”。 4.Until/till: 1)主句謂語動詞是_，通常用_形式。例如： A.I will stay here till the rain stops. B.Until I came back ,he was waiting for me at my home. 2)若主句謂語動詞是_，則要用_形式。即：_(直到-才-)。 A. I did not realize how special my mother was until I became an adult. B. I had hardly/scarcely _(arrive) home when it began to rain.6.表示時間的短語引導(dǎo)的時間狀語從句有一些表示時間的短語(名詞詞組)也可當(dāng)作連詞來用，引導(dǎo)時間狀語從句：the first time, the last time, next time, by the time , every time ,each time, the day, the week ,等。The time 不可以當(dāng)引導(dǎo)詞。The first time可當(dāng)引導(dǎo)詞，但 for the first time 不行。A. The day he returned , his father was already dead.B. Next time you come, remember to bring along your sister.C. Every time I listen to your advice, I get into trouble.by the time:“在之前或到時候”，強(qiáng)調(diào)的是“一個動作在另外一個動作之前已經(jīng)完成”，因此，by the time后邊接從句，而與其搭配的主句要用完成時態(tài)。 A. By the time they arrived, we had already left. B. By the time they arrive, we will _ already _(leave).7.區(qū)分since,before,after after 后接段時間，用一般過去時。eg.
