Ask the students to listen to the tape and try to number the pictures. Play the tape for the students. Check the answers.2. Listen and circle the names you hear. Play the tape and check the answers.Step 3: Work on 2c Pair work1. First ask two students to read the dialogue.A: Hello! Whats your name?B: My name is .A: Im .B: Nice to meet you!2. Then ask the students to practise the conversation in pairs.Step 4: 2d Role-play the conversation.Linda: Good afternoon! My name is Linda. Are you Helen?Helen: Yes, I am. His names Mike.Ask the students to read the conversation and then have a role-play.Ask a few pairs to go to the blackboard then act it out.Step 5: 2d Grammar focus and new wordsExplain the following: 1. my pron. 我的。my是I(我)的所有格。類似的還有his(他的)、her(她的)、your(你的)、their(他們的)、its(它的)。e.g.: My name is Jane. 我的名字叫簡(jiǎn)。Her telephone number is 850 8680. 她的電話號(hào)碼是850 8680。2. nice adj. 開心的,愉快的。e.g.: Nice to meet you. 很高興見到你。3. hello interj. 喂。hello一般可作為同學(xué)、同事、熟人以及朋友間的打招呼用語(yǔ),語(yǔ)氣較隨便,意為“您好”;也可用作喚起注意,如打電話或路上碰見熟人時(shí),都可以說(shuō)hello。相當(dāng)于中文里的“喂”,在表示問(wèn)候和喚起注意時(shí),可用hi代替hello,前者顯得更隨便。如:Hello/Hi, Bruce! 你好, 布魯斯!4. 動(dòng)詞be的自述。我叫動(dòng)詞be,別看個(gè)子小,本領(lǐng)可不少,句中會(huì)變形,大家要區(qū)分:I后am,you后are,is跟著他、她、它,單數(shù)后面用is,復(fù)數(shù)后面一定用are。5. meet v. 遇見;相逢。e.g.: Lets meet for dinner. 讓我們相聚吃晚飯吧。Step 6: 3a Complete the conversation and practise it with your partner.A: Hi,_ your name?B: My _ Gina. _ you Tom?A: _, Im not. _ Bob.B: Hi,_. _ to meet you.A: Nice to _you, too.Give the students a few minutes to do it and ask them to practice it in pairs.課堂作業(yè)拓展練習(xí):一、補(bǔ)全對(duì)話。A: Whats your name, please?B: 1 is Peter Brown.二、單項(xiàng)選擇。( ) 1.
