When the school basketball competition started, Kate was still making her way to school.重 點1) 掌握本課時出現(xiàn)的生詞及用法。2) 進行聽力訓(xùn)練,提高綜合聽說能力。 難 點聽力訓(xùn)練預(yù)設(shè)流程一、Self Study(自主學(xué)習(xí))讀并按要求(5+1+1)抄寫P37的單詞。二、Lead-in (教師導(dǎo)入)Warming up Ask students to talk about the event they were late for or couldnt go. Teacher can give an example.(見課件)三、Presentation (教師精講)Work on 1a 1. After the example, ask students to talk about the pictures with the structure: I was late for school because. When the class started, I was. I couldnt go to.because. When.started, I was.2. Pair-work Make a conversation to talk about the event with partner. What was the event? What was the reason why you were late or couldnt go? Tell your partner the story.四、Practice(合作探究)Work on 1b Listen and write short answers to the questions.1. What event happened at the school yesterday?2. Who missed the event?3. Which team won at the event? Work on 1c: Listen again. Number the events 1-6 in the order they happened.五、Production (展示提升)Work on 1d: Talk about why Kate missed the school basketball competition. Student A begins a sentence with while or when. Student B completes the sentence.A: When she got to the bus stop, Kate B: When she got to the bus stop, Kate realized that her bag was still at home.A: While she was running back home, B: While she was running back home, she saw a dog by the side of the road.六、Exercise(拓展創(chuàng)新)Write a story about the event you were late or you couldnt go.
