What are you doing for vacation?一 設(shè)計理念英語課程要面向全體學生,注重素質(zhì)教育。課程要特別關(guān)注學生的情感,激發(fā)他們學習英語的興趣,幫助他們建立學習的成就感和自信心,以學習語言技能,語言知識,情感態(tài)度,學習策略和文化意識的發(fā)展為基礎(chǔ),培養(yǎng)學生綜合語言運用能力。突出學生主體,尊重個體差異,倡導任務(wù)型教學,讓學生在教師的指導下,通過感知,體驗,實踐,參與與合作等方式,感受成功,在學習過程中進行情感和策略調(diào)整,以形成積極的學習態(tài)度,促進語言實際運用能力的提高。二教材分析英語教學應該從聽說入手,注重聽說訓練,培養(yǎng)學生的語感和初步運用英語進行簡單日常交際的能力,并通過圖片,表演,對話等激發(fā)學生的學習興趣,幫助學生養(yǎng)成良好的學習習慣,掌握有效的學習方法,發(fā)展自主學習的能力,為進一步學習打下基礎(chǔ)。教學內(nèi)容為八年級上冊第三單元Section A 本單元的語言功能項目是“討論將來計劃”。整個單元以“Vacation plan”(假期計劃)為話題,引導學生了解假期主要活動,討論一下下一個假期準備干什么,學會運用相關(guān)的表達。三學生分析利用多媒體課件上英語課,學生視聽感受明顯,表現(xiàn)出極大興趣,在欣賞和享受中學習英語,學習效果很明顯。通過對本單元學習,學生可以鞏固所學知識,掌握正確的語言表達結(jié)構(gòu)表達將來的計劃。學生學習英語有一年多的時間,學習英語興趣沒有初學時濃厚,在教學中我力求創(chuàng)設(shè)有心意的教學環(huán)境,以靈活新穎的教學形式,調(diào)動學生的積極性,使學生主動參與英語知識的學習,操練與交際活動,注重培養(yǎng)學生語言交際能力和思維發(fā)展能力。四教學目標Language goals(1)Key vocabulary: babysit, camp, plan, camping , visiting ,spending time with friends, babysitting , relaxing at home ,going to sports camp ,going to the bench (2)Talk about future plans(3)2Ability goal: Listening skill Writing skill Speaking skill 3 Moral goal learn to make plans for tomorrow Go out for camping when you have time五教學重點1 Key vocabulary: camping, visiting, spending time with friends, babysitting, relaxing, at home, going to sports camp2 Target language: What are you doing for vacation? I am spending time with my friends. When are you going? I am going next week.六教學難點1 What are you doing for vacation? I am babysitting my sister.2 Grammar focus七教學方法 Listening and speaking methods. Writing methods Group work 任務(wù)型教學法八教學工具; A tape recorder A large wall calendar A projector九教學過程Step 1 Warm up(1) Greet the class and make students sing an English song (2)Ask and answer between teacher and students T: Good morning boys and girls, Nice to see you.Ss; Nice to see you too.T: How are you?Ss: I am fine, thank you.Do you like vacation?Ss: YesDo you want to have a good vacation?Ss: YesT: Lets talk about vacation.(設(shè)計意圖:課前通過唱英文歌,師生交流,互相問候,引起學生的共鳴,達到交際的目的,并能激發(fā)學生學習興趣,為學習新內(nèi)容作鋪墊)Step2 Presentation1 Look at the picture and talk about it.T: Can you say what you see in the picture?Then write the activities down on the blackboard: camping, babysitting, playing, basketball , watching TV2 Display the wall calendar and present the expression:What are you doing for vacation? Im staying on Saturday(設(shè)計意圖:通過呈現(xiàn)圖片實物等引出所學句型,不僅生動靈活的呈現(xiàn)本節(jié)課的句型,還讓學生感受學以致用的快樂) 3 Listen to the recording and ask students to write a conversation number from 1 to 3 in each box. Check the answers.4 Pair workRead the sample dialogue in 1c to students.Whats she doing for vacation?Shes babysitting her sister.Then explain babysit and let students ask and answer the questions about the people in the picture .Then ask some pairs to act out the dialogue.In front of the classroom.(設(shè)計意圖:通過兩人一組對話,活躍課堂氣氛,讓學生大膽開口受英語,發(fā)揮學生主體作用,營造寬松,民主,和諧的教學氛圍,提高學生的口語能力和語言實際運用能力)Step3 Consolidation Listening: First ask the students to look at the chart. Make them understand the listening task carefully. Then play the recording. For the first time ,point out the sample. Hector is visiting his cousins on Friday. For the second time, let students finish the filling task.(設(shè)計意圖:聽力訓練既是對知識的鞏固,也為下一步的任務(wù)輸出提供了輸入材料.)Step4 Practice1 Group work: Ask two students to read the dialogue. Then get students into small groups .Let them talk about their vacation plans.A: What are you doing for vacation, Li Chen?B:Im going camping.That sounds nice. Who are you going with?B:Im going with my parents.2 Grrammar FocusReview the grammar box on page 14. Ask and answer about the grammar box in pairs.3TaskDivide the class into several groups, make a survey about “What are you doing next weekend?” Write down the results and then report it. Then ask some students to answer it.(設(shè)計意圖:1、設(shè)計的活動既突出互動合作,又體現(xiàn)個性化發(fā)展,有利于調(diào)動各個層面同學的學習積極性,最大限度地提高每位同學的參與意識。2、活動的主題難易顧及到學生的實際情況,操作具有可行性。3、教師導演,學生主演,充分發(fā)揮學生的主體作用和積極能動性。4通過讓學生分組作調(diào)查,真正體現(xiàn)以人為本的任務(wù)型語言教學模式.)Step5 SummaryGive Ss a chance to sum up what they have learned in this class.(Ss can talk about it freely.) Then T makes a brief sum-up. This period weve learnt some key vocabularies and done guided Listening and writing exercises. And weve learned grammar rules. Go camping with your family in your spare time. learn to relax ourselves.(設(shè)計意圖: 讓學生來做課堂小結(jié),抓住了學生“敢于開口說英語”的心理,突出主動學習的重要性;教師作綜合陳述,猶如給學生一顆定心丸,給學生增添了信心,設(shè)計任務(wù)型教學活動,培養(yǎng)學生綜合運用語言能力。) Step6 Homework Write a plan about your family for vacation .Blackboard Design Unit 3 What are you doing for vacation?Key vocabulary Vacation plans camping ,babysitting, Hes going camping with his parents.spending time with friends, Im babysitting my mother.going to the beach Shes going camping. 案例反思:這節(jié)課內(nèi)容講解詳細,活動豐富,重難點突出,利用多媒體進行教學,關(guān)注每個學生的情感,激發(fā)學生的學習興趣,提高教學效率:注重培養(yǎng)學生的聽說能力和語言的實際運用能力,讓學生大膽開口說;通過兩人一組作對話,分小組討論等,為學生提供自主學習和相互交流的機會以及充分表現(xiàn)和自我發(fā)展的空間,鼓勵學生通過體驗,實踐,討論,合作,探究等方式,發(fā)展聽書讀寫的綜合語言技能;通過作調(diào)查讓學生能夠探究他們自己感興趣的問題并自主解決問題,采取任務(wù)型的教學策略,依據(jù)課程的總體目標并結(jié)合教學內(nèi)容,創(chuàng)造性地設(shè)計貼近學生實際的教學活動,吸引和組織學生積極參與,學生通過思考,調(diào)查,討論,交流和合作等方式,學習和使用英語,完成學習任務(wù),培養(yǎng)學生綜合運用語言的能力。同時,我也深深意識到,課堂教學中課前要做好充分準備,盡量使用方便易有的實物,利用多媒體強化教學效果;教學中要關(guān)注學生的情感,營造寬松,民主,和諧的教學氛圍,尊重每個學生,積極鼓勵他們在學習中的嘗試,保護他們的自尊心和積極性,把英語教學于情感教育結(jié)合,創(chuàng)設(shè)各種合作學習
