Unit4 Then and now【教材分析】本單元的話題是“過去和現(xiàn)在”,通過對比Mike一家人過去與現(xiàn)在的學(xué)習(xí)、工作和生活等方面,讓學(xué)生感受科技如何改變生活。本單元在第三單元的基礎(chǔ)上,對一般過去時做進一步呈現(xiàn),而一般現(xiàn)在時的句型在五年級上學(xué)期已經(jīng)學(xué)過,把這兩個時態(tài)放在一起對比呈現(xiàn),是一個教學(xué)難點,在教學(xué)中教師要啟發(fā)學(xué)生通過觀察、對比等方式,總結(jié)歸納兩種時態(tài)的用法并嘗試在正確的語境中使用。【教學(xué)目標(biāo)】1.讓學(xué)生聽懂、會說、會讀本單元中出現(xiàn)的單詞:ago, office, newspaper, news, watch, e-book, with, yesterday2. 能聽懂、會讀、會說句型: - ago, heshe- Now heshe- What day is it today?3. 能通過觀察初步理解感知一般過去式的一般現(xiàn)在時在一起出現(xiàn)時的表達方法4. 能理解對話內(nèi)容,在教師的引導(dǎo)和幫助下正確的使用這些時態(tài)?!窘虒W(xué)重難點】1. 一般過去時與一般現(xiàn)在時的比較與運用2. 字母er在單詞中的發(fā)音【教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備】圖片、光盤、錄音機【教學(xué)內(nèi)容】 Unit4 Then and now 第一課時【教學(xué)目標(biāo)】 1.聽說讀單詞then and now ,e-book, mobile phone, newspaper, radio, telephone, e-books, anywhere, could,并能運用于語句中。 2.掌握動詞過去式的發(fā)音及用法,會說years ago,could/ could notNow, 3.能正確地理解并朗讀對話內(nèi)容,在教師的引導(dǎo)和幫助下嘗試復(fù)述課文內(nèi)容。 4.通過過去和現(xiàn)在的對比,感受個人的成長和社會的進步。【教學(xué)重點】 1.能正確地理解并朗讀對話內(nèi)容,在教師的引導(dǎo)和幫助下嘗試復(fù)述課文內(nèi)容【教學(xué)難點】 1.能正確使用一般過去時和一般現(xiàn)在時表達過去和現(xiàn)在的事情?!菊n前準(zhǔn)備】 1. 光盤單詞卡片,課文圖片,PPT 2、板書準(zhǔn)備 六年級上冊英語Unit4 Then and now 【教學(xué)過程】Step 1. Warming up1.T: Do you know the song?S: Where is time going?T: Yes, time flies quickly. We are growing up, and the things around us are changing. We know, the world is changing.2. T: Then what is changing? Do you have your idea?Step2. New learning1. T: Perfect. I like your ideas. Now Ill show you a family. Do you know them? 3Who is he/ she? ( Mike, Mr Brown, Mrs Brown, Mikes grandpa)2. Then, how about this boy? Yes, this is Mike six years/ Mr Brown twenty years ago/ Mrs Brown twenty years ago/ Mikes grandpa thirty years ago.T: (總結(jié))The time before, we can use this word: Then. ( what does it mean?) T: Today, we are going to learn Unit 4, Then and now.T: SO ,can you say sth. about Mikes family? (對比說,is/are, was/were)T: They have changed a lot. And this lesson, well know more about the changes of Mikes family.1. (圖) This boy, he is Mike. Now, he is a young boy. And he can do many things now. Lets guess, what can he do?(圖)T: Could Mike do all these things six years ago? What could he do(讀could)I give you two fist letters here. Can you guess? What couldnt he do? T: So, six years ago, Mike could read. but he (師生一起讀文本)T: Can you describe little Mike six years ago and young Mike now?總結(jié):In fact, everyone is changing everyday( the changes of people), What they look like is changing(appearance) , and what they can do is changing, too(ability).3. T: And we know, as we people are changing everyday, our life is changing, too. Now lets listen to the tape, and try to catch: what they did then and what they do now. And remember to tick them quickly. After learning lets check.4. look at Mr Brown. This is Mr Brown twenty years ago. And This is Mr Brown now.What did he do then and what does he do now?(1)Read the paragraph quickly, and try to find out the communicate tools.(2)read the four words. T: They are needed when we want to contact others. So ,which one do you like? And Why?(3) How about Mr Green? What did he use twenty years ago? (match: wrote letters, 4(2) T: How did Mikes grandpa get news thirty years ago, and how about now?T: First, lets look at the two pictures.
