She has long straight hair.Is he tall or short?2. 情感態(tài)度價值觀目標:讓學生學會友好、客觀地描述人的形象。二、教學重難點1. 教學重點: 掌握單詞,熟練掌握描述人的形象的句型。2. 教學難點: 掌握描述人的形象的句型。三、教學過程. Lead-in1. Look at the picture of 1a and think about the questions:1. How many people are there in the picture?2. Where are they?3. What are the two girls doing?4. Can you describe the people in the picture?2. Learn some new words. Presentation (Section A 1a)1. Match the words with the people in the picture. (1a)學習課本的第一部分P49,1a 先看圖片,然后搭配圖片和相關(guān)的外貌特征的詞。Now please look at P49, Use the letters to match the people in the picture with one of the numbered words. Write each letter next to a numbered word. Practice like the conversation according to some pictures.Summary What does/do + 主語 + look like?:“看上去什么樣?” (look like 看起來像)What does Liu Xiang look like ?劉翔長什么樣子?回答:“主語 + be + 描述人物外貌特征的形容詞”或 “主語 + have/has + 名詞” He is tall.他很高。 He has short hair.他留有短發(fā)描述人的長相用動詞be還是have/has 1. be (is, am, are) + 形容詞: tall 高的/ short矮的 / heavy重的 / thin瘦的 of medium height 中等身高的 of medium build中等體形的 2. have / has + 名詞詞組 short / long hair straight /curly hair big / small eyes. Listening (2a & 2b)1. Listen and answer the questions. (2a)1. Is David tall or short? _2. Does Sally have long or short hair? _3. Is peter tall or short? _2. Listen again and fill in the chart. (2b)DavidSallyPeterishas3. Describe David, Sally, Peters appearances according to the information of 2b. u David is heavy and tall. He has curly hair.u Sally is thin and of medium height. She has long straight hair.u Peter is short. He has short hair. Practice (2c)1. Student A looks at the chart in 2b. Student B asks Student A questions about one of the people and then draws a picture of the person quickly.2. Act the dialogue. Role-play the conversation. (2d)1. Language points1. Were meeting at seven, right? 我們七點見,對嗎?1) meet相當于漢語中“集合;見面;碰頭;聚集”。如: Lets meet at the school gate at eight tomorrow. 我們明天八點在校門口集合吧。2) right表示“對嗎,是吧”,用來表示對此前陳述內(nèi)容進行確認和核實。全句為Is that right? 口語中常用不完整的句子表達意見或想法。 2. , but I may be a little late. a little意為“有點兒”,用來修飾形容詞。 e.g. Its a little cold tonight. 今晚有點冷。【拓展】a little意為“一些;少許”后跟不可數(shù)名詞。 e.g. Theres a little meat in the bowl. 碗里有點肉。 3. Well, he has brown hair and wears glasses. glass作“玻璃”講時,是不可數(shù)名詞;作“玻璃杯”講時, 為可數(shù)名詞;而glasses則是“眼鏡”之意。 e.g. Glass is broken easily. 玻璃很易碎。 Theres no water in your glass. 你的杯子里沒有水了。 Does she wear glasses? 她戴眼鏡嗎? 4. He isnt tall or short. 他不高也不矮。 英語在受到否定概念限定的部分中一般不用and, 而用or。 e.g. I dont have any brothers or sisters. 我沒有兄弟和姐妹。在以上這種用法中,or相當于and not。試比較:Sophie never cleans or even offers to wash the dishe
