At least 15 awards of up to ?2,500 will be made, of which 5 will be available to disabled students. Scholarship payments can only be made to students who are currently enrolled at the University of Gloucestershire on an eligible course. Scholarships will be awarded each year to the best sportspersons from all applications submitted within the deadline. Students studying on a part time basis who are awarded this scholarship will be paid pro-rata dependent on the amount of credits undertaken. Scholarship funds are paid directly into the students bank aount, following regular interviews with the Sports Scholarship Co-ordinator. Payments will be made in four instalments; 20% in October xx, 30% in December xx, 30% in April 2018 and 20% in June 2018. If an award is terminated for any reason, a student must repay the University any monies overpaid, based on a pro-rata calculation from the date of the termination of the scholarship.
