2、52A內(nèi)存更換規(guī)則及注意事項2一、 Power7-720/740內(nèi)存更換規(guī)則及注意事項1、 準備工作: 準備好服務器信息(客戶準備)、故障內(nèi)存位置、內(nèi)存?zhèn)浼⒐P記本、網(wǎng)線、十字螺絲刀一把、一字螺絲刀一把。2、 與客戶到生產(chǎn)庫房取內(nèi)存?zhèn)浼?,然后根?jù)客戶提供的信息,與客戶一起,確認服務器位置、狀態(tài)及是否關機,如未關機,向客戶說明,協(xié)調進行關機。3、 服務器關機后,首先進行服務器下電工作。4、 下電之前,工程師務必再次確認服務器所在位置,可讓兩名工程師站在服務器所在機柜的前后,通過兩名工程師上下計數(shù)方法確定服務器所在位置,確認無誤后將服務器下電。5、 服務器下電之后,將服務器后面的KVM IQ適配器

3、、網(wǎng)線、光纖線、等連接線纜分別取下,注意光纖線和網(wǎng)線的左右順序,千萬不可混插,如果線纜太多可在取下前做好標記。6、 服務器線纜整理完畢,需要將服務器從機柜中抽出,抽出前需要注意:7、 首先,用工具將服務器前面板上的螺絲卸下,以便服務器能正常從機柜中抽出。8、 兩名工程師需站在服務器所在機柜的前后,后面的工程師負責檢查服務器在抽出的過程中,是否會拖拽其他服務器線纜,此環(huán)節(jié)必須要仔細,前后工程師密切配合,避免造成其他事故。9、 前面的工程師負責將服務器拉出到合適的位置。注意:如果服務器在機柜的中央以下位置,可不用將服務器下架,若服務器在機柜的頂部或中央以上,不方便更換備件,則必須將服務器下架后再更

4、換故障內(nèi)存。10、 將服務器后面的兩個螺絲松開,打開頂蓋,可以看到P720/740內(nèi)部結構如圖1-1所示。P1-C15、P1-C16、P1-C17、P1-C18是4個內(nèi)存盒,每個內(nèi)存盒可以插8塊內(nèi)存。根據(jù)CPU個數(shù)的不同內(nèi)存盒個數(shù)也有限制,720只支持最多兩個內(nèi)存盒,740一個CPU模塊的支持兩個內(nèi)存盒,兩個CPU模塊的可支持4個內(nèi)存盒。表1-1列出了P720/740 各型號機器對應內(nèi)存盒的位置。P7-720圖1-1 Power720/740 內(nèi)部結構圖表1-1 P720/740 各型號配置對應內(nèi)存盒位置及安插順序機器型號及CPU模塊個數(shù)內(nèi)存板的安插順序P720 8202-E4B or 820

8、 memory riser at location P1-C15.11、 拔出需要更換的內(nèi)存盒,方法如圖1-2所示,按下A處向上拉起內(nèi)存盒即可。圖1-2 拔出內(nèi)存盒12、 拔出后的內(nèi)存盒后就可以開始更換內(nèi)存了。根據(jù)我們事先對機器故障的判斷,確定了故障內(nèi)存的位置,圖1-3顯示內(nèi)存的具體物理位置。然后根據(jù)機器配置情況,對照表1-2 Power7 8202-E4B or 8205-E6B型號的機器內(nèi)存安插順序,和表1-3 Power7 8202-E4C or 8205-E6C型號的機器內(nèi)存安插順序,查找配對規(guī)則,然后進行更換。圖1-3內(nèi)存物理位置注意:由于小型機的內(nèi)存都是成對或者4個一組起作用的,故

56、t slots 1, 2, 3, and 4 must be identical; however, they can bedifferent from the four memory modules at slots 5, 6, 7, and 8 on the samememory card.13、 根據(jù)機器的型號及配置情況找到正確的內(nèi)存位置,就可以將對應的兩條內(nèi)存拔下了,換內(nèi)存的方法可見圖1-5,先按下內(nèi)存兩邊的卡扣,然后輕輕將內(nèi)存從插槽中拔出,換上新的內(nèi)存,然后按回卡扣即可。圖1-5 內(nèi)存拔插圖14、 換好所有的內(nèi)存卡,將內(nèi)存盒插回機箱內(nèi),蓋上頂蓋,將服務器緩慢推回機柜中。注意:在服務器

57、往回推之前,機柜后面仍需一名工程師查看在往回推得過程中是否會拖拽到其他線纜,前后工程師需密切配合,避免避免造成其他事故。15、 將服務器電源與KVM IQ適配器等線纜連接上,等服務器完成加電硬件自檢后,按開機按鈕開機。注意:網(wǎng)線與光纖線先不連接,等確認服務器能正常起機后再插上,避免服務器因電源或其他硬件故障引起的二次報警。16、 將筆記本與服務器的HMC管理口用網(wǎng)線相連,登陸到ASMI界面。查看事件日志中是否存在當前時間點的內(nèi)存報警,或其他硬件報警,若沒有,則證明服務器已更換的內(nèi)存與其他硬件工作正常。此時可把故障燈關閉。提示: HMC有兩個接口,其中接口地址為,(IBM P5 服務器)HMC1:192.168.2.147,HMC2:192.168.3.147(IBM P6/7服務器)HMC1:169.254.2.147,HMC2:169.254.3.147ASMI界面,用戶名:admin 密碼:admin17、 告知客戶內(nèi)存更換完畢,現(xiàn)服務器工作正常,然后將網(wǎng)線或光纖線按之前拔下的順序重新插上
