22、 iron and steel 1 standardization model for a product standard in the scope the product thickness is increased to 400 mm 0 2 to be in line with en 10025-2 the upper yield strength is increased to 960 mpa to be in line with 2 en 10025-6 1 4 2 this document includes a bibliography y a m according to t

25、d sections of steel as normally manufactured have deformation properties perpendicular to c n the surface through thickness which are different from those obtained in the surface direction this u anisotropy of the properties may lead to difficulties in welded structures for instance lamellar tearing

26、 7 0 0 it is however possible to improve the through thickness properties by using additional steel making 2 0 procedures 0 0 through thickness properties are characterized in this document by specified values for reduction of area in a 0 through thickness tensile test t m g there is no direct relat

27、ionship between these values and the integrity of structures because the risk of 5 lamellar tearing is also basically influenced by the type of structure weld design and welding procedure the 1 minimum values for reduction of area in this document cannot therefore by themselves be regarded as 0 2 en

28、suring safety against occurrence of lamellar tearing 2 1 4 however the reduction of area is a good general guide to lamellar tear resistance ie the risk of lamellar 2 tearing decreases with increased reduction of area in the through thickness tensile test y a m u h t y g o l o n h c e t f o e t u t
