1、the importance of discipline in the staff management摘要紀(jì)律廣泛存在于各種集體像學(xué)校、教堂以及公司等等。它是一種約束人們行為的規(guī)章或者條例,發(fā)揮著相當(dāng)重要的作用。在任何一個集體里面,我們都被告之哪些該做,哪些不該做來約束我們的行為。在經(jīng)濟(jì)高速發(fā)展的今天,同行業(yè)的公司越來越多,面臨的競爭也越來越激烈。同時我們知道公司成員是公司的主要動力,只有保證公司成員對工作的積極態(tài)度及行動力,公司才有可能達(dá)到它的發(fā)展目標(biāo)。而在員工管理中,紀(jì)律的有效性顯的尤其重要。一些公司的人力資源部已經(jīng)意識到紀(jì)律的重要性,同時利用紀(jì)律來使公司具有更高的優(yōu)勢。壞的紀(jì)律會使員工

2、心理失去平衡消極怠工并帶給其他員工甚至公眾及社會惡劣的影響;好的紀(jì)律管理能夠有效的幫助公司使員工以積極的態(tài)度對待工作帶動整個集體同時有利于提高公司客戶的滿意度,使公司的產(chǎn)量更加高效的提高。該項目是將以tac為例子進(jìn)行研究,把2009年沒有進(jìn)行有效紀(jì)律管理的公司的人事狀況,公司財政情況及公司客戶的滿意度與2010年進(jìn)行有效紀(jì)律管理的情況進(jìn)行對比,對于得出的數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行分析與討論使人們發(fā)現(xiàn)紀(jì)律在公司員工管理中的重要性,使公司意識到加強員工管理是公司走向成功的一個必要環(huán)節(jié)。作為企業(yè)的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)應(yīng)該調(diào)查研究本企業(yè)的員工管理中紀(jì)律是否有效,以便及時的發(fā)現(xiàn)問題,改進(jìn)管理,從而使公司朝著健康的方向去發(fā)展去壯大。關(guān)鍵詞

4、panies have taken the discipline as an effective tool to occupy a bigger market. the human resource management has recognized that good discipline in the company can help staff conduct in a positive way to finish the job. on the contrary, bad discipline always makes the company undergo the difficult

9、he staff management1. introductionas we know, discipline is a kind of regulation which occurrs with the society emerging. it changes with the historical development. it can make the members act and conduct according to the rules set to achieve some goals or objectives. it exists in each field concer

10、ning the organization such as military, church, school etc. only by the discipline, the members in the organization can ensure their conduct and behaviors are directing the same goal. in modern society, with the development of economy, the competition becomes fierce among people especial among the e

11、nterprises. it is known to all that the core of the enterprise is the staff. the human resource management becomes the effective tool to defeat the competitors. in the human resources management, most enterprises management departments are trying to take use of the management of discipline to increa

12、se the value of human resources. staffs positive attitude and strong executive power plays determinative role in the success of the companies. however, there are still weak discipline managements in the enterprise. and these poor managements result in the abnormal operation in the organization which

13、 brings about a lot of loss and harm to the enterprise including the unnecessary waste, slacking off of the employee, even the crime of the employee, low efficiency of the organization and safe problems etc in the enterprise. effective discipline in the staff management can supply the guarantee and

14、supervision of the effective work of staff. it can keep the positive behavior and conduct of the staff which can increase the efficiency, supply with a dynamic team, assure the quality of products which can give the add-value service to the customers. as a result, the company can get a positive deve

15、lopment by the effective discipline. the effective discipline plays an important role in the effective operation of the whole enterprise. 2. project rationale and project hypothesis2.1 project rationale today, there are still a lot of enterprises which have not realized the importance of the importa

16、nce of discipline of staff management. and a lot of accidents arose because of the neglect of discipline of staff. the sound discipline always seems too late when the terrible result occurs. the reason why delay is problematic is that it sends a message that undesirable behavior will be accepted or

17、even not noticed. secondly, delay can have an adverse effect on the manager later, if the problem increases in frequency and intensity that it cannot be ignored. when a problem is allowed to grow, the manager often will develop unhealthy tendencies and evil influences among the employee which makes

18、constructive interaction difficult. (robert bacal, 2000-2011) for example, in 2008, 913 issue happening at an oil station in fujian is one that the oilcan explosion arose because a worker named chen violated the discipline to use plastic drum to fill the gasoline for private use which resulted in th

19、e casualty and death. a woman worker died of violating the operation regulation because she worked without the working cap in yancheng kaida machinery co.,ltd. from the examples, we can see that the people involved undergo the own loss besides the loss to company economy. all these accidents bring t

20、he loss to the casualty, the death families. meanwhile, they bring the bad social influence and great loss on the company. management always has struggled to find a judicious way to establish and enforce fair rules of employee conduct. the objectives are vital and non-controversial: to promote the h

21、ealth and safety of all employees; protect company property; ensure steady production; conform to legal requirements; and create a pleasant working environment. (gene levine, 2011) on the other hand, the effective discipline management can help the staff raise the self conscience to the safe operati

22、on in order to decrease even avoid such dangerous cases. meanwhile, the good discipline management can supervise the staff to work efficiently and correctly. correspondingly, the company can benefit a lot such as good performance in the profit, excellent service for the customers, good images in the

23、 society from the best behavior and conduct of the employees. susan m. heathfield (susan m. heathfield, 2011) pointed out that the managers or any other leaders should understand and perform the employee practices that keep employees motivated, inspired, developing and attaining goals with the guida

24、nce. effective discipline management can contribute to this aspect. employee behavior is the base of discipline in an organization. discipline implies confirming with the code of conduct established by the organization. discipline in an organization ensures productivity and efficiency. it encourages

25、 harmony and co-operation among employees as well as acts as a morale booster for the employees. in absence of discipline, there will be chaos, confusion, corruption and disobedience in an organization (m, 2008 2012) in addition, the companies can make use of the excellent discipline management to d

26、evelop the competition advantages to defeat the other companies in such fierce market with many opponents. it can improve the human resources management. the project is to point out the importance of the discipline in the staff management by investigation in behavior and conduct of the employee by t

27、he good and bad management of top asian co., ltd. the influence and result of the good and bad management brought to the companies can make the other enterprise realize the necessity to improve the discipline in the staff management.2.2 project hypothesis a company always can achieve its goal by the

28、 excellent discipline in the staff management and have good positive development in different fields such as the social influence, high efficiency and value add to the customers etc. conversely, a company always undergoes difficult result such as economic loss and bad social image by the bad discipl

29、ine in the staff management.3. problem analysis3.1 former business situation of top asian co.,ltd3.1.1 financial situationtop asian co.,ltd (hereafter referred as tac) is a leading manufacture of drills in china. for example,at the time of economy crisis in 2008, it successfully purchase the leading

30、 drill brand in the world by the scarce opportunity brought in the advantageous time to the developing countries. tac just seize the opportunity to develop itself. this contributes the external enviorment by the swot analysis. the total foreign exchange amount of the year of tac is about $ 40,000. i

31、t seems like a good financial operation. however, in fact, it is rather difficult for it to conduct financial circulation. it is always obssessed with late payment for some purchase for the raw material because there are large slow payments back from the customers because of different reason as foll

32、owing:1) late shipment caused by the low efficiency of production2) claims from customers because the careless packing making, quality problem, wrong 3) frequent strike issue results in the stop in production4) some accidents caused of the incorrect operation of the workers.5) wrong documents made b

33、y the sales results in the customers loss in clearing the customall these factories makes the shipment late and claims from the customers who refused to make the payment in time or stop payment and punishment of economy which results in the bad circulation in finance.3.1.2 human resource huma

34、n resource managementregarding the human resource management, there are the good treatment about the salary and training for the employees. it is quite important factor which influence the development and management in the company by the swot analysis. however, there is still unfair treatment in the

35、 hiring of interviewees. there are a lot of applicants introduced by the staff. and the interviewees are just the friends and relatives of the staff which results in the different treatment in the hiring. there is no equal or fair assignment for the works task which results in the too work for some

36、staff. consequently, the worker chooses to give up the job because of great pressure which cause short of workers for the big production task. in addition, there is not efficient investigation about the ideological work to keep the positive behavior and conduct of the workers to find the reason why

37、the workers have such status. the human resource management can not guarantee the in-time guarantee about the salary and welfare. for example, some employees have been in the factory for more than 2 months. the human resource management will not make the five insurance and one fund till the employee

38、 come to them. in addition, they will give the lowest salary for the entire worker who is new without any communication with the superior of the workers in their department. staff behavior and conductsuch human resource management results in the negative behavior and conduct. workers always w

39、ork in a passive and inactive way because of the unfair treatment by the management. workers always think that they only can get the same reward with the people who just do a little. why should they do more work? then the work efficiecy is lowered. second, they also automatically decrease the work t

40、ask amount because of the irrational assignment or just choose to leave the company. in addition, because of the timely procedure about becoming a regular worker, the workers will doubt whether they are qualified by the judgment of the company. therefore, they will be looking for another job for the

41、 emergency need in the future which results in the negative attitude about the present work. these occurred indirect by the human resources management which results in the bad discipline management in the workers. besides the problems in the bad behavior and conduct of workers, there are some other

42、ill-performances among the workers. some workers slow their conduct because of the negative influence of the other low workers. they thought they can get the similar payment because others do so little. there are also some workers dont care the cost the raw material. people always can see a lot of a

43、buse use in the packing workshop which increases the cost of the companies. also, some workers steal the raw material, oil or other things for private use.3.1.3 social influencesuch management of course brings the bad image of the public. this is also an important external factors influence the deve

44、lopment of company by the swot analysis. they will have bad impression about the company from the accidental complaint among the workers. as soon as the accident happens, the government and surrounding residents will worry the safety of the environment, the safety about the property of theirs. the c

45、ompanies cant get the best support if they want to have some policies.what is more important, the people are unwilling to work in such environment which cant supply with the safe guarantee. domestic customers will worry about the quality with such poor management. meanwhile, it is rather difficult f

46、or the companies to reestablish the good image in the public after quite long time.3.1.4 customer satisfactionpoor discipline in the staff management always results in the loss of customers. because the bad quality, the late shipment even the wrong documents make the customers fail in the expectatio

47、n. we all know that good information always be spread in the slow time. but the bad news always went fast. if bad service can not be improved in the early time, the customer will lose patience to cooperate with the suppliers. bad discipline will indirectly results in the bad performance of the worke

48、r in the products making. as a result the customers cant get the goods they expected because of such bad disciplines. for example, for the seasonal products, the customers can not deliver or get the products they should have, they will miss the best selling time. bad clearing documents will results

49、in the tough passing through the custom. if the company cant treat and change the management, the customers will be disappointed about the company by the late shipment, poor quality product and service. for a long time, the company will lose a lot of customers by such poor discipline in staff manage

50、ment. 3.2 discipline needing improvement analysissome people may think the good working environment and good salary are the key thing the employee needs. in fact, the efficiency and fair treatment are not only necessary but important for the employees. the fair discipline would be the protection for

51、 those excellent workers which also are useful to improve the workers who dont do well. therefore, the fair regulation should be improved in tac. the company should establish a fair discipline in meting out rewards or punishments. secondly, the stricter discipline should be set. meanwhile, the compa

52、ny should make the staff realize that importance of the quality actually are the guarantee of their. they should work according to the drive power of themselves. the safety problem should be placed in the important places which make the staff have the self recognitions about the loss which may happe

53、n.4. project design 4.1 project objectivesthe project objective is to show the importance of discipline in staff management by the comparison between the performance of staff with the discipline improved with regard to the financial situation and customer satisfaction etc, with the former situation.

54、4.2 planning of activitiesfirst of all, the company should accumulate the former situations about financial department especially the income, the employees quantity, the customer satisfaction like below:the financial situation: $400,000 income. there is about $100,000 for the compensation for the lo

55、ss on the poor quality, service.the employees quantity: 1000 members: 100 have left the company.customer satisfactory situation: 10 customers raise the claims about the timely delivery, poor quality, incorrect documents etc.secondly, the company should employ another 100 employees to the company.thi
