One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the man acles of segregati on and the cha ins of discrim in at

3、i on. One hun dred years later, the Negro lives on a Ion ely isla nd of poverty in the midst of a vast ocea n of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languished in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. So we ve come here today to dram

4、atize a shameful con diti on.?I am not unmin dful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulati ons. Some of you have come fresh from n arrow jail cells. Some of you have come from areas where your quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecuti on and staggered by

5、 the winds of police brutality. You have bee n the vetera ns of creative sufferi ng.
