7、使學(xué)生正確認(rèn)識(shí)自我并懂得要想成就一項(xiàng)事業(yè),實(shí)現(xiàn)人生理想,需要付出不懈的努力;能靈活運(yùn)用所學(xué)知識(shí)描述社會(huì)上的不同職業(yè),描述自己的特長以及未來的職業(yè)理想;能根據(jù)一些建議和要求,表達(dá)自己的優(yōu)勢(shì),闡述求職理由,并能寫出一封成功的求職信。1.1 WARMING UP 提供了四幅有關(guān)理發(fā)師、餐廳服務(wù)員、廚師和會(huì)計(jì)工作場(chǎng)景的圖片,讓學(xué)生運(yùn)用已有的知識(shí)和經(jīng)驗(yàn),想象并描述他們的日常工作內(nèi)容、職責(zé)和義務(wù)并以全班討論的形式,發(fā)表自己的觀點(diǎn)。1.2 LISTENING是三位學(xué)生談?wù)撚嘘P(guān)擇業(yè)問題的聽力材料。要求學(xué)生聽前以小組合作方式預(yù)測(cè)聽力內(nèi)容。1.3 SPEAKING提供了職業(yè)顧問的部分調(diào)查問卷,要求學(xué)生以小組合作形
8、式,談?wù)撟约旱南埠?、不足之處,并就課本所供幾種工作類型進(jìn)行討論,從而讓學(xué)生客觀地認(rèn)識(shí)自我,并訓(xùn)練自己的表達(dá)能力。1.4 PRE-READING部分要求學(xué)生首先通過閱讀標(biāo)題來預(yù)測(cè)文章內(nèi)容,而后通過閱讀每段首句和結(jié)論部分歸納全文中心思想、揣摩作者觀點(diǎn)。1.5 READING是一篇夾敘夾議的文章。通過貝克漢姆的事例講述了英國職業(yè)足球運(yùn)動(dòng)員的艱辛以及來之不易的成功。1.6 POST-READING第一個(gè)訓(xùn)練題要求學(xué)生從文中找出相關(guān)信息完成表格中內(nèi)容;第二題要求學(xué)生利用文中信息比較足球職業(yè)與其它職業(yè)的不同之處;第三題要求學(xué)生從文章的字里行間讀懂作者的弦外之音,推斷作者的寫作意圖。 1.7 LANGUAG
9、E PRACTICE 共三部分且均為主觀題。第一部分要求學(xué)生對(duì)一篇關(guān)于網(wǎng)上辦公的文章先就其中的語言錯(cuò)誤進(jìn)行更正,進(jìn)而討論Teleworking這種工作的缺陷。第二部分要求學(xué)生運(yùn)用所學(xué)詞匯描述不同職業(yè)、身份的人的特征。第三部分要求學(xué)生先對(duì)三種職業(yè)招聘廣告展開討論,然后選擇自己喜歡的職業(yè)并陳述自己的觀點(diǎn)和理由,最后要求學(xué)生列出在假定情景下求職面試時(shí)可能提出的問題、對(duì)這些問題的應(yīng)對(duì)措施,并以pariwork的形式表現(xiàn)該場(chǎng)景。1.8 INTEGRATING SKILLS要求學(xué)生完成兩個(gè)任務(wù):1. 列舉寫求職申請(qǐng)應(yīng)注意的事項(xiàng);比較說明兩封求職信中那一封效果會(huì)更好;2. 要求學(xué)生根據(jù)自己的職業(yè)理想并結(jié)合文
10、章首段中所列問題寫一份求職申請(qǐng)。2. 教材重組2.1可將WARMING UP,SPEAKING和Workbook中的 READING AND SPEAKING整合在一起,設(shè)計(jì)成一節(jié)任務(wù)型“口語課”。2.2 可將課本LISTENING 和Workbook中的LISTENING整合在一起,設(shè)計(jì)成一節(jié)“聽力課”。2.3 可將PRE-READING, READING和POST-READING三個(gè)活動(dòng)整合成一節(jié)“精讀課”。2.4 可將LANGUAGE PRACTICE 與Workbook中PRACTISING部分的語法練習(xí)題整合在一起上一節(jié)“語法課”。2.5 可將INTEGRATING SKILLS 中

17、on, they should have friendly personalities and fashionable oppearances. Whats more, they should have good cutting skills and are always ready to design various haircut styles. Only in this way can they satisfy the different customers. S2: Yes. Please look at Picture 2. A waitress is standing by the
18、 table waiting for the guests politely and we can see that she is making an obeisance by crossing one hand with the other before her chest. Its important for her to keep a smile and be attentive in order to offer good service to the customers. S3: I agree. In the third picture the chef in the kitche
19、n is showing up the dishes newly prepared by him with great satisfaction. In order to make every customer have a good appetite in his restaurant, he has to be smart and creative enough to make clean and delicious food.Can you imagine the scene when a customer sees a fly in the soup? S4: Aha, I see.
20、Well, the accountant in the last picture is busy keeping accounts. She has to be very careful and honest in performing her official duties. 21、: Well, from these pictures we can see that every day different people are doing different jobs and people in different fields have their own duties and responsibilities. Thanks to the hard work of people from all walks of life, our society has been making progress so rapidly. Do you agree? Well, ca

You may talk with your partners first before we have a check five minutes later. S1: I know many other jobs such as teacher, doctor,

As for the last question, experts believe that there are about 40,000 different types of jobs in the world. So choosing the right one is a difficult job in
