1、Unit 5 Encyclopaedias廣州市第16中學(xué)、培正中學(xué)一、教材分析本單元圍繞著談?wù)摗鞍倏迫珪眮碚归_聽、說、讀、寫的訓(xùn)練。通過介紹查找百科全書的方法以及理解百科全書中不同類別的資料信息等活動,拓展學(xué)生的文化背景知識面,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生科學(xué)的學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度,激發(fā)他們獲取知識的熱情。本單元選取的材料包括關(guān)于恐龍、華特·迪士尼以及埃及學(xué)之父讓·商博良的三段閱讀材料、關(guān)于南京中山陵的一段聽力材料。語法方面主要學(xué)習(xí)指示代詞與可數(shù)名詞、不可數(shù)名詞的用法。本單元具體學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容見“認(rèn)知目標(biāo)”。二、教學(xué)對象分析1. 從本單元的材料選取上看,不論是學(xué)生們比較感興趣的恐龍與華特·迪士尼,
2、還是略有所知的南京中山陵,抑或是了解不多的埃及學(xué)之父讓·商博良,其實都有利于激發(fā)他們對本單元學(xué)習(xí)的興趣,有利于開展本單元的的各項聽、說、讀、寫任務(wù),關(guān)鍵是教師如何做好引入環(huán)節(jié)。2. 學(xué)生對于指示代詞this,that,these,those的用法與可數(shù)名詞、不可數(shù)名詞的用法其實并不陌生,在小學(xué)已有接觸。在本單元,教師可系統(tǒng)地幫助學(xué)生溫故而知新,進(jìn)行系統(tǒng)的歸納性學(xué)習(xí),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在一定的語境中熟練運用它們。三、單元教學(xué)目標(biāo)1.認(rèn)知目標(biāo): 學(xué)習(xí)水平學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容學(xué)習(xí)水平的描述語 音1. 了解音節(jié)的概念,能夠正確區(qū)分單詞的音節(jié)。2. 能夠正確朗讀單音節(jié)、雙音節(jié)、多音節(jié)單詞,讀準(zhǔn)重讀音節(jié)。詞 匯1.

7、發(fā)他們獲取知識的熱情。3. 能力發(fā)展目標(biāo):1)能夠在聽、說、讀、寫等語言綜合實踐活動中運用本單元所學(xué)的重點詞匯、句型與語法。2)在學(xué)習(xí)中提高交流和傳遞信息的能力,能夠根據(jù)關(guān)鍵詞、圖片等提示完成故事,敘事完整、合理。3)通過指導(dǎo)學(xué)生在模擬交際中運用所學(xué)的知識,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生探究學(xué)習(xí)、合作學(xué)習(xí)、自主學(xué)習(xí)的能力。四、單元教學(xué)重點1. 學(xué)生熟練掌握本單元重點詞匯以及短語。2指導(dǎo)學(xué)生利用所學(xué)句型正確表達(dá)思想、進(jìn)行交際活動。3指導(dǎo)學(xué)生歸納、總結(jié)指示代詞this,that,these,those的用法以及可數(shù)名詞與不可數(shù)名詞的用法,并在實踐中熟練運用它們。五、單元教學(xué)難點1. 通過形式多樣的課堂活動與任務(wù),幫助學(xué)
8、生完成閱讀理解、聽力理解等學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)。2. 本單元ReadingB(介紹埃及學(xué)之父讓·商博良)閱讀材料的科普性較強(qiáng),建議教師在教學(xué)中把握課型特點、注重方法,調(diào)動學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的積極性。3. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生積極主動地探究學(xué)習(xí),從教材以外的多渠道去了解與本單元主題相關(guān)的文化背景信息、資料等,并能與同學(xué)進(jìn)行相互交流,順利開展包括口頭匯報、海報展示等拓展活動,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生探究學(xué)習(xí)、自主學(xué)習(xí)、合作學(xué)習(xí)的能力。六、教學(xué)策略1在教學(xué)中,教師應(yīng)積極創(chuàng)設(shè)情景引入,配合媒體、表情、動作、進(jìn)行視聽說演示,激發(fā)學(xué)生興趣,以聽說帶讀寫。2教師應(yīng)采用有利于學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的教學(xué)方法,善于引導(dǎo)學(xué)生通過閱讀或觀察、比較對知識進(jìn)行歸納總結(jié)。增
9、加學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容的復(fù)現(xiàn)和鞏固練習(xí)、及時反饋學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)情況等。3教師應(yīng)該根據(jù)自己學(xué)生的具體情況對教材進(jìn)行整合,精講多練,調(diào)動學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,使他們積極參與課堂各種學(xué)習(xí)活動。在閱讀的過程中,教師應(yīng)著重指導(dǎo)學(xué)生培養(yǎng)閱讀策略與技能及寫作過程中的寫作技巧訓(xùn)練。七、媒體的選擇與設(shè)計1充分利用和發(fā)揮基本的教學(xué)媒體,如課本、掛圖、教師的身體語言、板書的作用。2適時、合理地使用計算機(jī)多媒體,增大課堂的容量,更好地輔助課堂教學(xué),提高課堂教學(xué)的有效性。八、各課時教學(xué)內(nèi)容安排建議第1課時Reading A一、定位: input-based,閱讀理解為主。二、教學(xué)目標(biāo):1.讓學(xué)生閱讀兩段選自百科全書的文字,了解關(guān)于恐龍和華特.
