1、Unit 8 單元備課本單元的話題為“Talk about the neighborhood”,在一個陌生的環(huán)境問路、在自己熟悉的社區(qū)、景區(qū)向別人指路是青少年經(jīng)常遇到的情景。這種話題學生感興趣,并有話可說,在問路、指路的對話練習中熟悉多個方位詞的用法、多個建筑物名稱。本單元應該圍繞“問路、指路”這一話題展開,設計一些任務型活動,以給學生一個訓練、提高的機會。從而,學生要能夠?qū)W會用there be來表達存在,學會指路、問路,介紹建筑物直接的位置關系、向別人介紹自己居住的社區(qū)周圍的建筑,并能利用地圖準確地尋找某一建筑物的位置?!窘虒W目標】1. 基本目標
2、; 能聽、說、讀、寫以下單詞:post, office, police, station, hotel, restaurant, bank, hospital, street, pay, pay phone, near, across, front, b
3、ehind, town, north, along, turn, right, turn right, left, turn left, crossing, enjoy, easily, road, spend, climb, around, air, sunshine, free, money能聽、說、理解以下單詞:neighborhood, sunshine,straight.能理解、會用下面的詞組:across from, next to, in front of, on the right/left,2. 能力目標學會用there be表達存在,學會問路、指路,介紹建筑物之間
4、的位置關系、向別人介紹自己居住的社區(qū)周圍的建筑,并能利用地圖準確地尋找某一建筑物的位置。3. 情感目標遇到別人有困難時,熱情禮貌地提供幫助。課時劃分:第一課時 Section A 1a-1c第二課時 Section A 2a-3c第三課時 Section B 1a-1e第四課時 Section B 2a- 3aPeriod 1一、教學目標:知識目標:1. 學習表示建筑物的幾個名詞: post office, police station, hotel, restaurant, bank, hospital, street, pay phone, park,near and pay.2
5、. 學習there be 結構的用法。Is there a hospital near here? Yes, there is. Its on the Bridge Street. / NO, there isnt.3. 能夠用there be 句型表示存在。二、教學重難點1. 建筑物名詞。2.there be 的句型表達存在,以及there be 句型的肯否定句和肯否回答。三、教學步驟Step 1 Lead-in1. Greet as usual.2. Show a picture of the local city, ask and answer like this:T

Its on the Pingan Street.Step 2 Presentation1. 展示圖片或幻燈片,呈現(xiàn)其他生詞,如:post office, police station, hotel,ban
7、k, hospital, pay phone, street 等,然后帶領學生朗讀生詞。2. Show pictures to present the target language:Is there a post office near here?Yes, there is./ No, there isnt.Step 3 Practice1. Pairwork. 根據(jù)1a中的圖片內(nèi)容,兩人一組編對話,如:Is there a hotel near the park?Yes, there is. Its on Long Street.No, there isntStep 4 Productio

Greet as usualStep 2 Presentation首先用圖片復習in,on,under表示物體方位的用法,接著呈現(xiàn)方位介詞next to,in front of, between and, behind, across from等。老師帶讀這些詞匯,再通過看圖提問的方式檢測學生是否理解這些詞匯和短語的含義
11、。如:T: Where is the pay phone?S1: Its across from next to between and on in front of behindStep 3 PracticePariwork. 用幻燈片來呈現(xiàn)一幅圖片,并讓學生結對訓練。A; Where is the post office/ the restaurant?B: Its across from next to between and on in front of behindStep 4 Production1. Work on 2a. 讓學生觀察2a的圖片,將正確的序號填入圖上的空格中。核對
12、答案,并讓學生朗讀2a中的句子。2. Work on 2b, listen and fill in blanks with the words in the box.。播放第一遍錄音,讓學生填寫2b中的句子。播放第二遍錄音,讓學生核對信息,將答案補充完整。3Check the answers. 針對2b中的地點進行問答,并核對答案。 T: Wheres the park?
