3、permanentresidencyanduniversitysreputationhavemadethegraduatesjob-huntingprocesstougher.Someanalyzethatagainstthebackdropofintensifiedemploymenttensionforuniversitygraduates,needystudentsfromruralandurbanareasusuallyfindthemselvesinrelativelyinferiorpositions.Somegraduatesrealizethatinordertogetajob
4、,theyhavetosignsomeunfairtreatiesthatpromisenottotakethepostgraduateexamorleavethecompanywithinseveralyears,ortheyhavetopay5,000Yuanforbreachingthecontract.Somerecruitersevendeclareopenlythattheyonlyneedstudentsfromfamousuniversities,sograduatesfromotherschoolsarenotevenentitledtoapply.Currentlythec

15、sat9:30a.m.,whichisratherlate,andthelastperiodofthedaycourseendsat4:55p.m.Theclassesfortheeveningcoursebeginat5:45p.m.andendat8:50p.m.Maebitscampusisnotverylargebutithasalotofflowerbedsandplants.Oncampustherearethelibrary,theclubbuilding,sportsfields,thestudentunionhall,thelaboratorybuilding,andmany
16、otherfacilities.Ourdepartmentbuildingliesinthenorthwestcornerofcampus.Thisbuildingwasbuiltaboutfiveyearsago,and everythingisstillnewinthisbuilding.Therearemanyclubs,butImnotamemberofanyclub.OneofmyfriendsisamemberoftheTennisClubinwhichthereare5members.TheypracticeeveryWednesdayandSaturdayafternoon.T
17、heyarehopingtomakeitintothebest8inthecomingintercollegiatetournament.Ilikemycollege.Ihavealreadymadesomegoodfriendsandwereenjoyingourschoollife.CopingwithStressinCollegeCollegelifecanbeverystressful.Sometimesparents,facultyandotherstendtoidealizetheircollegeexperienceandrememberitasthatidyllictimewh
18、entheyhadfewworriesorresponsibilities.Tostudentscurrentlyattendingcollege,however,theprocessisoftenstressfulandfrustrating.Thecompetitionforgrades,theneedtoperform,relationships,careerchoice,andmanyotheraspectsofthecollegeenvironmentcausestress.Butbeforecondemningstressoutright,weneedtounderstandtha
19、tstressisonlyharmfulwhenitisexcessive.Muchofthestressthatweallexperienceishelpfulandstimulating.Thechallengesoflifetendtobestressfulandanattempttoavoidstresscompletelywouldleadtoaratherboringexistence.Theproblemcomeswhenyouexperiencetoomuchstress.Therearefourprimarysourcesofstress:theenvironment,(no

21、inmanyforms.Somesymptomsonlyimpactthepersonwhoisdirectlyexperiencingstress,whileothersymptomsmayhaveanimpactonourrelationshipswithothers.Althoughsomestressreactionsarepartofdeeperandmoreseriousemotionalproblems,manyarenot,andcanbehandledwithrelativelysimplecounselingandstress-managementtechniques.De
