Thus, doctors suggest that people, especially children, eat fast food as little as possible. Although cooking at home is time-consuming and the following washing-up tiresome, it offers h

The Chinese fast food restaurants sell dumplings, noodles, spring rolls, and other Chinese snacks.My family likes fast food, but we dont eat at Western fast food restaurants very often. Some say the Internet is an inexhaustible resource which can provide students with fast and abundant information, while oth

14、ers claim that it is harmful for students to surf the Internet since they are likely to be cheated by those unhealthy and false information. As to this question, I do hold that students should not spend too much time on the Internet. Admittedly, the Internet has been playing an important role in our

15、 daily life, through which students can learn things, make friends and send emails, etc. But all these cannot make up for the troubles it has caused to students. First, it cannot be denied that there remains a great deal of unhealthy information in cyberspace like pornographic pictures, obscene film

16、s or vulgar music and things of that sort. Once attracted by such a powerful magnet, students, especially the innocent ones who are in the age of puberty, appear to have little self-control and tend to be misled, sinking deeper and deeper, even committing crime at last. Besides, surfing the Internet

17、 is rather time and energy-consuming. Some students complain that their real life is monotonous and they regard surfing the Internet the only way to kill time and seek happiness. Nevertheless, the moment they sit before their computers, they seem to forget the whole world, not to mention studies. So

18、metimes, they will take a whole day and night online, chatting and playing adventurous games. No wonder they cannot help yawning and falling asleep in class the next day. However, once they have recovered from tiredness and regained their vigor, they will surf the Internet again. The Internet is not

19、hing but a sticky spider web, while students are just like insects tied up unfortunately in a trap. With their energy gradually fading, students finally fall victim to the spider. How miserable! Furthermore, surfing the Internet will, to a great extent, bring extra economic burdens to students who a

20、re mainly supported by their families. So far as I know, a student will be charged 1RMB per hour in the Internet bar, then you can imagine how much money he has to pay provided he keeps on surfing online for a few hours everyday. To sum up, I do not think the Internet does students much good, but th

21、is does not mean that students should not acquire useful information from the Internet. My suggestion is that students should have a right attitude toward the Internet. Theyd better not be preoccupied with the Internet and forget their main task. They should learn how to use the Internet in a proper

22、 wayShould students surf the Internet?Today our class had a heated discussion about whether we should surf the Internet or not. The following is our discussion.(Our discussion is as follows.60 percent of students think that its good for students to surf the net. First of all, Internet can provide us

Moreover, Internet can help us to broaden our horizon, improve our communication skills and make us keep on knowing the outside world.However, there are 40% of the students who disagree with it. In the Chinese culture, dragon is a lucky animal, but in the mythology of the western world, dragon is seen as the evil monster. This is the recognizing diff

Because of the differences of historical culture, country geography positions, manners and customs, Chinese have the different viewpoint with the western nations about some same color. For example, the red color is always seen as the happy color, whe

39、n couples hold their wedding, they like wearing red clothes, but for the English and American, people always consider the red color as atrocity, unlucky, because they think that the red color means bleed. This is the culture difference about color.Third, its about the difference of number. In the Ch

40、inese society, one of the most welcome numbers is 666, which means very smooth and successful. While, to English, people dont like it at all, because this number stand for devil in the Holy Bible. Oppositely, the western people dont like the number thirteen, but in the Chinese culture, it has no esp

41、ecial meaning. Moreover, there are some differences between Chinese and western about the thinking way. Take the appellation “l(fā)eader” for instance, in the western culture, leader may be seen as the man who manages the team or society, he or she is still a common person, just like the others, because

42、 of the different function, the other people call him or her leader. However, in the Chinese culture, the appellation is given more meanings. Sometimes, the subordinates see their leader as a god, thats because leaders are always given more and more privileges by the government. The subordinates wan

43、t to be work and live like their leader, they do everything surrounding the leader, not follow the principles.These are my opinions about the differences between Chinese and western world, if any viewpoint is not proper, I will be very happy hoping the criticism.
