1、Unit 9 What does he look like?Section A (1a-2d)一、教學目標:1.語言知識目標:1)能掌握以下單詞:curly, straight, tall, medium, thin, heavy, build, tonight, little, cinema, glasses, later能掌握以下句型:What does he look like?Hes of medium build.What does he look like?She has long straight hair.Is he tall or short?2.情感態(tài)度價值觀目標:讓學生學
2、會友好、客觀地描述人的形象。二、教學重難點1.教學重點:掌握單詞,熟練掌握描述人的形象的句型。2.教學難點:掌握描述人的形象的句型。三、教學過程. Warming-up and revision找出三名外貌差異較大的學生來做比較,一個胖而高大的男生(a fat and tall boy),一個瘦而較矮的男生(a thin and short boy),一個中等身材(of medium height)。目的:引起學生的學習興趣,了解人物的外貌特征,(即不管外貌如何在不同的游戲中都能獲勝)的對比培養(yǎng)學生的情感和態(tài)度:不要以貌取人(Dont judge by appearance)。然后用這兩名學生
3、為例教heavy, tall, thin, short引出句型:1. What do you look like?Hes really tall.He has long straight hair.2. What does she look like?Shes of medium build. Presentation(Section A 1a)1. Match the words with the people in the picture. (1a)學習課本的第一部分P49,1a先看圖片,然后搭配圖片和相關(guān)的外貌特征的詞。Now please look at P49,Use the let
