23、容盡在競學(xué)網(wǎng)職場英語頻道 首先要聲明的是,為人處世要誠實,這個原則無可爭議。但求職者的面試,則屬于一種比較特殊的情況,需要采取一定的談話技巧。比如人事經(jīng)理問你:Why did you leave your last job?(你為什么要辭去以前的工作),如果按照誠實原則,應(yīng)當(dāng)回答:我跟經(jīng)理合不來,他快把我逼瘋啦,我必須離開(請看下面)。但是這樣回答之后,你肯定會給人事經(jīng)理留下一個壞印象:這家伙可能是一個不太合群的人,他既然跟以前的上級合不來,說不定跟以后的上級也合不來。My manager and I could not get along. He was driving me crazy a
24、nd I needed to leave.對于這個問題,正確的回答方法是:不要提及前任公司、前任經(jīng)理的任何缺點(diǎn),你可以隨便找一個其它方面的理由,比如公司太遠(yuǎn),上下班不方便等。在面試方面,我個人認(rèn)為,最重要的一個原則不是誠實,而是適度的恭維(moderate flattery),也就是適度地恭維你想應(yīng)聘的那家公司。因此對于這個問題,按照恭維原則,應(yīng)當(dāng)回答:以前那家公司太小,沒有什么前途(請看下面),以此恭維應(yīng)聘公司是一家大公司,適合留在這里長期工作。It was a small company, not what I wanted in terms of my future.再比如,人事經(jīng)理問你
