T:Im OK. Set down, please!Step 2: Lead in The teacher plays a video.Its about a cat and a mouse.Ask stu

5、dents to watch the video. Then ask students to answer the question Can the cat eat the mouse?Why? The answer is the cat cannot eat the little mouse in the end. Because the cat is heavier than the little mouse. The tree branch will broken.It will fall down the tree. Step 3:PresentationT:There are two

6、 beautiful balloons. I want two students to come to the stage and blow them together. I will count one to five. When I count five. You should stop blowing them.As balloon is bigger than Bs.Bs balloon is smaller than As.The teacher show the pictures of different things that the students are familiar

7、with. Then lead the students to find out the differences between the things. Step 4:Practice Ask students to use the comparative to describe the objects around them.For example: The red ruler is longer than the white one. The white ruler is shorter than the red one. The book is lighter than the dict

8、ionary. The dictionary is heavier than the book.Step 5:Presentation How to compare two peoples personal traits? The teacher show the running mans picture on PPT.T:Do you know them? Do you like them? Yes, they are running man. Lets play a guessing game. There are two pictures of two people in running

9、 man. Can you guess who are they?Give students a few points. Ask them to compare these two people. Then they can find out the right person. :Lets go on. Show the students four kinds of different pictures.Step 6:Exercise :Let students do some exercises which including the uses of comparative words. :

10、Teacher and all the students try to find out the rules of comparative degree.Learning the knowledge by searching for the rules.Step 7:Have a try Ask students to describe someone with comparative degree.(Anybody is OK. It could be their sister ,brother,friend or their favorite star.) The teacher will give the students an example.Teacher show a photo of her best friend. This is my best friend.
