(1a-1c) Teaching plan by Lu HongTeaching Aims:Knowledge aims:By the end of this lesson, students can pronouce, read and use the words of family members correctly ; they can use who questions to ask about family members and this/that is and these/those are sentence patterns
2、to introduce family members properly.Ability aims:To practice students abilities of getting information by observing pictures, and get to know the relationship of family members by observing their looks and hair.To develop students listening and speaking abilities.To enhance studentsEnglish communic
3、ation ability.Emotional aims:1) Students will be willing to introduce family members properly in English to others in their daily life and thus they will be more interested in learning and using English .Important and difficult points: points1) Master new words, phonetic symbols and sentence pattern

6、 the questions.Step2 Pre-listening task 15 minutes to learn new words and phonetic symbols.guide students to observe more family photos and teach words of family members one by one by asking the question “who is this/ that and who are these/those?”Write new words on the blackboard and underline key
7、letters to show their phonetic symbols.After teaching, play some games to check if all students can read new words correctly.Let students finish 1a and make sentences by using new words. (eg:look at picture a, .is .)look at the photos and learn new words.Make notes on the English book. Underline som
8、e key letters of new words and write down their phonetic symbols.Follow the teacher and repeat new words.Use new words to make sentences together or one by one.Step 3While-listening task 10 minutes To enhance students listening ability.To improve students ability to speak.let students look at the pi
9、cture again and answer questions.“Who are these two boys? What are they talking about? Who is not in the family? Why?”Elicit 1b and ask students to listen to 1b, then check answers.Listen again and repeat the conversations.Ask the students to copy the conversation on their exercise books in order to
10、 check their writing rules.Ask students to work in pairs to make their own conversations introducing family members rely on the original conversation.Invite some groups to show their conversation.watch the picture again and answer teachers questions.Listen to 1b .Listen again and repeat sentences.Co
