didn’tlook(1)有些動詞只能接不定式做賓語verb+todo與verb+doing的區(qū)別如:help,hope,ask,refuse,decide,wish,promise,pretend,expect,arrange,learn,plan,demand,dare,manage,agree,fail,prepare,determine,offer,choose,desire,elect,long,(happen,seem)等等。e.g.Herefusedtospeakontheradio.Hedesiredtoseeyou.Hewantedtoknowthetruth.HepretendedtohavereadthebookwhenIaskedhimaboutit.動詞:mind,finish,enjoy,suggest,permit,appreciate,consider,miss,dislike,keep(on),avoid,permit,imagine,risk,escape,admit,stand(忍受),allow,forbid,excuse(2)有些動詞只接動名詞做賓語短語動詞:giveup,putoff,insiston,be/getusedtocan’thelp,feellike,objectto,setabout,prevent…from,lookforwardto,等短語:beworthdoing,benogooddoing,benousedoing,bebusydoing1)Themotherdidagreetolettheboyriskswimmingacrosstheriver.2)Hiswifedoesn’tallowsmokinginsidetheroomandoftenadvisedhimtogiveupsmoking.3)Allthefamilyinsistedonmystayingwiththemafewdayslonger.4)It’snogoodlearningwithoutpracticing.

/tostayathomeonSunday.注意:begin和start本身為進行時,或后面動詞為心理變化意義的動詞時,須接不定式。e.g.Whenwecamein,theywerebeginning
tohavesupper.Afterhisexplanation,Ibegantounderstandit/realizethatIwaswrong.(4)有些詞后面既可以接不定式。亦可接動名詞,但其意義有很大區(qū)別,須特別注意:remember/forget/regret+doing,表示完成意義(=havingdone);+todo,表示將來意義mean+todo(=wanttodo)打算,要…;+doing意味著,就是1).PleaseremembertobringmethebookIwantnexttime.2).Irememberseeingher(=havingseenher)somewherebefore.3).Don’tforgettowritetomesoon.4).Ineverforgetvisiting)themforthefirsttime.5).Iregretmissingthatgoodfilmlastweek.6).Iregretnottakingyouradvice.7).Iamsorry,Ididn’tmeantohurtyourfeelings,8).Imeanttocall
