如何做完形填空專練

完形填空題是英語(yǔ)考試中的必考題,它既是考查同學(xué)們的英語(yǔ)知識(shí)又是檢測(cè)同學(xué)們的分析判斷的能力和綜合運(yùn)用所學(xué)知識(shí)的能力。是一種高要求的試題。

一般來(lái)說(shuō),完形填空是將一篇難度適中的短文,將其中某些詞挖空,讓同學(xué)們?cè)谒o的ABCD四項(xiàng)選項(xiàng)中選出最佳答案,使其通順,挖空的密度越大,試題越難,反之亦然。一般文中有10至20個(gè)單詞或短語(yǔ)被抽去,做題時(shí)可按以下幾個(gè)步驟進(jìn)行。

1.通讀全文,掌握大意。

做完形填空題,閱讀理解是關(guān)鍵,要快速讀完全文,也可進(jìn)行“跳讀”或“掠讀”。雖然文章中有些空格,但仍可以了解文章的主要內(nèi)容。在閱讀時(shí),短文的第一句往往很重要,提供時(shí)間、地點(diǎn)、人物、事件,因此我們可以憑借此句推斷文章的內(nèi)容。此外,短文各段的第一句也很重要。把握這些關(guān)鍵詞,往往能理清文章的脈絡(luò)。

2.然后讀一遍選項(xiàng),知道均有哪些備選項(xiàng)。

3.再讀全文,并且可以邊讀邊用鉛筆將所選的選項(xiàng)的內(nèi)容填在空白處。

這是一個(gè)關(guān)鍵性的分析判斷階段。就是要根據(jù)文章提供的線索選擇各空白處的最佳答案。在此同時(shí)要根據(jù)上下文的聯(lián)系,瞻前顧后,掌握文章脈絡(luò),還要掌握文中暗含因素,同時(shí)還要掌握一些常識(shí),選擇最佳答案。對(duì)每題所給詞語(yǔ)的確切含義進(jìn)行分析比較,考慮到全文意境的影響,還要進(jìn)行邏輯思維、推理的方式來(lái)進(jìn)行答題。做題時(shí),不要孤立地局限于某個(gè)單句所提供的語(yǔ)境,以免斷章取義,顧此失彼或無(wú)所適從。文中人物的觀點(diǎn),態(tài)度、語(yǔ)氣、感情等對(duì)于選項(xiàng)的確定也起著重要的作用。在無(wú)法確定最佳選項(xiàng)時(shí),可采用排除法,逐一排除干擾選項(xiàng)。首先剔除內(nèi)容上、邏輯上明顯矛盾的選項(xiàng),然后再仔細(xì)鑒別詞、句的含義,選出最佳答案。

4.再串讀,用鉛筆填上,然后看看文章意思是否通順,語(yǔ)法語(yǔ)義是否準(zhǔn)確,是否可恢復(fù)原貌。

此時(shí)對(duì)全文意思的理解程度會(huì)更為清楚,這樣就為在解決那些少數(shù)疑難問(wèn)題時(shí)排除了在邏輯意義上易選錯(cuò)的選項(xiàng)。先看看哪些選項(xiàng)與文章不符,然后綜合運(yùn)用詞匯、句型、語(yǔ)法等知識(shí)反復(fù)地字斟句酌,來(lái)確定最后的答案。這時(shí)就要憑借語(yǔ)感和語(yǔ)言綜合運(yùn)用能力做出判斷,糾正錯(cuò)誤,提高答案的正確率。不能孤立地檢查每個(gè)要求填的空白處,應(yīng)遵循由整體到部分,再由部分到整體的理解文章的規(guī)律,認(rèn)真檢查所選的詞是否得當(dāng),語(yǔ)法是否正確。如果此時(shí)你對(duì)某一選項(xiàng)產(chǎn)生了懷疑,改動(dòng)時(shí)要格外慎重,否則,可能把正確的答案改錯(cuò)。

5.最后還要利用自己各方面的知識(shí)和語(yǔ)言知識(shí)、歷史知識(shí)、生活常識(shí)等,細(xì)微分析比較,理解中心,全面驗(yàn)證。

閱讀理解部分的短文內(nèi)容非常廣泛,有人物傳記、政治經(jīng)濟(jì)、天文史地、社會(huì)文化、科普小品、風(fēng)土人情、幽默故事及日常生活的各個(gè)方面。試題往往就短文中容易誤解和忽略之處?kù)`活地提出問(wèn)題,所用的句型和詞語(yǔ)也往往不同于短文中相應(yīng)部分的句型和詞語(yǔ)。

掌握豐富的詞匯及必要的語(yǔ)法知識(shí)是提高閱讀理解能力的先決條件,而了解文化差異及歷史背景常常是十分重要的。因此,同學(xué)們應(yīng)該對(duì)講英語(yǔ)國(guó)家的風(fēng)土人情及歷史發(fā)展有一般的常識(shí),同時(shí)對(duì)科普、科幻、天文、地理等都要有所了解。你們還必須經(jīng)常進(jìn)行大量的各種體裁、各種風(fēng)格的課外閱讀,逐步加快閱讀速度,不斷增進(jìn)閱讀技巧。下面向同學(xué)們介紹

閱讀理解的解題步驟和方法:

1.通讀全文,掌握大意

做閱讀理解題一定要學(xué)會(huì)通過(guò)快速閱讀,從整體上理解短文的大意及中心思想,領(lǐng)會(huì)

出題人的意圖。切忌人為地將短文搞得支離破碎,逐詞逐句地去感知材料,看一句或幾句做一個(gè)題目,這樣會(huì)影響答題的正確率。但是對(duì)于一些長(zhǎng)句和難句要作語(yǔ)法分析,以便掌握短文的大意和每個(gè)句子的確切含義。短文的開(kāi)頭和結(jié)尾往往是全文內(nèi)容的概括,對(duì)理解、推理都會(huì)有很大的幫助。

2.細(xì)審題意,獲取信息

認(rèn)真審閱文后的理解題。在審題時(shí)要弄清楚試題問(wèn)的是細(xì)節(jié)(如人物、時(shí)間、地點(diǎn))

還是主題大意;是事實(shí)還是觀點(diǎn);是從正面問(wèn)還是從反面問(wèn)。看清試題后,帶著問(wèn)題再回到正文中去尋找有關(guān)的句子、段落,獲取重要的信息。然后把所獲得的信息點(diǎn)與所給的答案逐一進(jìn)行認(rèn)真的比較,以便作出正確的判斷。

3.分層推理,正確答題

有些理解題可以直接從短文中找到答案。有些深層次的理解題在短文中找不到直接的
