I、同義詞、近義詞等連用。

在商務合同中，經(jīng)常用同義詞，間用and或or連接。此種用詞意在強調(diào)說明合同內(nèi)容、嚴格區(qū)分條款項目，在避免因歧義而發(fā)生糾紛。

例如：修改――amendmentstooralter

依照本協(xié)議的條款規(guī)定――onthetermsandsubjecttotheconditions由雙方――byandbetween秘密――secretandconfidential；

可轉讓――transferableorassignable；

依照本協(xié)議的條款規(guī)定――onthetermsandII、復合詞多使用帶有"here"，"there"，"where"等前綴在合同中使用這類復合詞可避免重復，做到簡潔、嚴密，同時反映出合同應有的正式規(guī)范性。舉例說明如下:這類復合詞中的“here”應理解為“this”,“there”應理解為“that”,“where”應理解為“which”。II、復合詞多使用帶有"here"，"there"，"whe

商務合同作為正式性的法律文件，用于規(guī)定權利義務，表明細節(jié)條目，因此用詞斟酌，正式、規(guī)范，多用正式或法律上的用詞。
