全球范圍內(nèi)的通用標準的數(shù)目的增長，例如版權(quán)法，國際貿(mào)易的增長比世界經(jīng)濟增長速度更快，由跨國公司控制世界經(jīng)濟的股份的增長。國際金融體系的發(fā)展，更多的國際間的文化影響，例如通過好萊塢電影的出口，文化多樣性的減少，各種文化的融合及創(chuàng)新，貧富差距可能擴大，國際旅游業(yè)的發(fā)展，部分發(fā)達國家對發(fā)展中國家資源的掠奪，部分發(fā)達國家把工業(yè)垃圾傾倒到發(fā)展中國家導致發(fā)展中國家的環(huán)境遭到破壞，文明以及價值觀的沖突，通過諸如互聯(lián)網(wǎng)和電話等的技術(shù)使得共享的信息資源不斷增長，移民的增長，包括非法移民，可怕主義也在全球化，參與可怕襲擊的可怕組織分子好多時候不在本國行動，而且與本國無關(guān)

有這樣的一種經(jīng)濟理論：相對優(yōu)勢使自由貿(mào)易可以讓資源分派變得更加有效，并且對參與貿(mào)易的雙方都有利。
