cultivation

of

certain

good

habitsinearlylife.Informinggood

habits,

think

weshould

payattention

to

four

things,

that

is

honesty,

industry,enthusiasmandthrift.

“Honesty

is

the

bestpolicy.

”This

is

aproverb

to

which

wemustpayattention.

There

are

somanytemptations

in

society

thatthroughalittlecarelessnesswe

maygoastray.Butwhenwearehonest,

peoplewillnotbedishonesttous.

Industry

gives

every

man

and

woman,

everyboyandgirl,properworktodo.

Todonothingisgoingtoruinoneself.

Enthusiasmisagreat

force.

One’ssoul

willexpandifonedevotesoneselftoa

noble

cause.Thedifficulties

in

our

way

are

tremendous,

but

whatcan

we

not

accomplish,ifwithenthusiasm?

There

are

manyproverbs,

which

setforth

the

advantages

of

thrift.

Since

welive

intheworldinwhichmoneyisavery

powerful

thing,

weshould

always

try

to

saveaportionofourearningsforfutureuse.

Thesearethefourthingstowhichwemustpayattention.Itisonlybythiswaythatwecanachievesuccess.

3.TVABlessingoraCurse?

AsTVenters moreandmore families,

people begin to wonder about its

advantages

and

disadvantages.

Some

believeitisablessing,othershold

thatitisacursetosociety.

TV,asamassmedia,

canbring

to

people

newinformationoneconomies,culture,

arts,

andmanyother

fields.

People

can

enjoytheirfavoriteprogramsathome.

In

some

countries,

some

TV

stations

provide

such

programs

as

looking

for

dangerouscriminalsandlostchildren,

helping

to

find

an

ideal

lover,

and

others

which

are

quite

beneficial

to

society,

some

TV

stations

provide

varioususefulseminarsforpeopleof

variousagesandsocialstatus.Buton

the

other

hand,

TV

mayexert

bad

influenceonpeople.Someprogramsare

fullofviolence.Asaresult,people,

especially

juveniles,

commit

Inmyopinion,theattitudetowardsTV

alldependsononeself.Peopleshould

choosethoseprograms,

useful,

can

4.OnTestandTestTaking

Thepurpose

of

atest

is

tocheckhowmuch

westudents

havelearned

about

asubject.

It

not

only

helps

makeournewly

acquired

knowledge

permanent,

butalsoenables

us

to

find

improving.

Butsomestudentsdonotdealwithtest

waiting

for

teacher’s

hewill

makeefforts

to

will

be

books

teacher

beneficial

friends.

But

evenif

one

has

these

favorable

conditions,

one

Manyamanis

7.IsFailureaBadThing?

Failure

is

a

common

life.

Whatever

results:successorfailure.Although

failure

be

people

education

is

much

emphasisis

placed

ontest

score.

It

has

become

criterion

for

college

enrollment.

It

universities

accept

students

college

will
