Whatcanbeapparentlyseenintheabovechartisthatthetotaldebttodisposableeremainedatabout56%stablyfrom2002to2005.However,itjumpedsharplyfrom2005to2013whenitreachedthepeakof101%.Onthecontrary,thesavingsto efellrapidlybetween2002and2007,andthenitleveledoffuntil2010whentherecameanothersteepdecrease.In2013,itbottomedoutto2%.

Itshouldbenoted,ofcourse,thattheAmericanshavebeenover-consumingforyears.Indeed,thegeneralpublicshouldbemadeawarethatthistrendisunsustainable.
