X-rayswerediscoveredin1895byaGermanprofessor,WilhelmRoentgen.

Peopleallovertheworldwereamazedbyhisinvention,theX-raymachine.This

inventionwassoimportantthatRoentgenwonthefirstNobelPrizeforPhysicsin

1901.

ThetelephonewasinventedbyAlexanderGrahamBell,adoctorandspeech

teacher.ThefirstphonecallwasmadebyBellin1876.Hegotacid(酸)onhispants

byaccidentandwantedhispartner,ThomasWatson,tohelphim.Thefirstwords

spokenonthetelephonewere"Mr.Watson,comehere!Ineedyou!”

Televisionwasinventedin1926byJohnLogieBaird,aScottishinventor.Baird's

televisioncertainlydidn'tlooklikeatelevisiontoday!Electronictelevisionslikethe

oneswehavetodaywereinventedbyVladimirZworykininthe1920sintheUnited

States.

Thefirstcomputerwasbuiltin1946bytwoAmericanengineers,J.Presper

EckertandJohnW.Mauchly.Itwasdevelopedforthearmy,anditwassolargethat

ittookupthewholeroom!Later,in1971,the“microchip”wasinvented,andsmall

homecomputerswerefirstproducedfbrpersonaluse.Todaycomputersareinvolved

inalmosteverythingwedoandarefoundalmosteverywherewego.
