Herearebriefsketchesofmajororuniqueattemptsaroundtheworldtoinsure

nonsmokers'righttosmoke-freeairandtohelpsmokersquit.SWEDEN

Anambitious,concertedplantoraiseanationofnonsmokersisbeingimplemented

bytheSwedishNationalBoardofHealthandWelfare.

Swedishchildrenbornafter1975wi11growupinenvironmentsthatwillbenonsmoking

andantismokingasmuchaspossible.Generalcigaretteconsumptionwillcutfrom1,700

cigarettesayearperpersonto1920levelofunder300cigarettesayear,according
