In2022,wehiredfromover650schoolsanduniversitiesglobally.Inadditiontoourcorerecruitingactivitiestargetingtalentacrosstheworld,thefirmhostsflagshipprogramsthatprovidepeoplewithdisabilities,LGBTQ+,women,veterans,ethnicallydiverseandsocialmobilitycandidateswithanopportunitytomeetourpeople,developskillsandlearnaboutrolesatthefirm.Ourprogramsofferstudentsinsightintoourindustry,providingaccesstorolemodelsandnetworkingtoensurethattheycanconfidentlyexplorecareersinfinance.

GoldmanSachsMarketMadness:HBCUPossibilitiesProgram

Thenewestadditiontoourongoingcommitmentisasemester-long,immersiveintroductiontokeyfinancialconceptsandtheirreal-worldapplications.Theprogramculminatesinacasestudycompetitionandtheopportunitytowinupto$1millioninprizefundingfortheparticipants’schools.In2022,HowardUniversitystudentswerefirstplacewinners.

Theprogramprovideshands-onandcomprehensivetechnicaltraining,groupprojectworkandmultipleopportunitiestonetworkwithmembersofourHBCUAllianceandseniorleadership,whilereceivingdedicatedcoachingandmentoring.Undergraduatefirst-andsecond-yearstudentsfrom12participatingHBCUsareeligibletoparticipate.
