Inpreparingthiscode,thedevelopmentteammadeextensiveinvestigationsandsummarizedthe

internationalstandardsandadvancedforeignstandards,solicitedthecommentsfromallinvolved
parties,andthenfinalizedthiscode.

Vapourbarriermaybeprovidedfortheouterprestressedconcretetank.Theliquidtightnessof

theprestressedconcretestructure,withoutaliquidtightliner,shallbeensuredbytheminimum

compressionzoneintheconcretestructure.
Allinletsandoutletsshould,preferably,bemadeattheroofofthetank.Incaseswherebottom

perimetershallnotexceed10mmeach10mofcircumference,andthedifferentialsettlement(inmm)
betweenthetankcenterandtheperimetershallnotexceed1/240ofthetankradius.
Forconcretestoragetanks,theirplaneinclinationshallnotexceed1/500,andthedifferential

settlementbetweenthetankcenterandtheperimetershallnotexceed1/300ofthetankradius.
Provisionsagainstfrostheaveinfoundationshallbedesignedforthelowtemperaturesteel

storagetankforpetrochemicalservice.Thefoundationheatingsystem,ifrequired,shallbedesignedso
thatthetemperatureofthefoundationshallnotdropbelow0℃atanyplace.
Thermalprotectionsystemshallbeprovidedfortheprestressedconcretesecondarycontainer.

Thethermalprotectionsystemshallcoverthewholebottomandthelower專用partofthewall,andshall
consistofsteelplates(doublebottom)andinsulationmaterial.
Theheightoftheverticalpartofthethermalprotectionsystemshallbedeterminedbasedon
