fieldfornotincludingananalysisofrace.

JacobsbecameanactivistworkingagainsttheplansfromRobertMosestoteardownexistingbuildi

ngsinGreenwichVillageandbuildhighrises.Sheopposedbuildinganexpress-waythatwouldhavecon

nectedtwobridgestoBrooklynwiththeHollandTunnel,displacing

muchhousingandmanybusinessinWashingtonSquareParkandtheWestVillage.This
