交互式電子白板在英語(yǔ)教學(xué)中的應(yīng)用研究的中期報(bào)告AbstractThismid-termreportpresentstheresearchontheapplicationofinteractiveelectronicwhiteboardsinEnglishlanguageteaching.Thereportincludesaliteraturereviewontheuseofinteractiveelectronicwhiteboardsandtheirbenefitsforlanguagelearning,themethodologyusedfortheresearch,andthefindingstodate.Theresearchhasshownthatusinginteractiveelectronicwhiteboardscanimprovestudentengagement,collaboration,andlanguageproficiency.Theuseofinteractiveelectronicwhiteboardsalsoprovidesopportunitiesfordifferentiatedinstructionandavarietyofteachingstrategies.However,therearealsochallengesassociatedwiththeiruse,includingtechnicaldifficultiesandtheneedforteachertraining.TheresearchwillcontinuetoexploretheuseofinteractiveelectronicwhiteboardsinEnglishlanguageteachingandwillproviderecommendationsfortheireffectiveintegrationintotheclassroom.IntroductionInteractiveelectronicwhiteboards(IEWBs)havegainedpopularityinrecentyearsandareincreasinglyusedineducation.IEWBsprovideaversatiletoolforteachingandlearningandoffernumerousbenefits,includingincreasedstudentengagement,improvedcollaboration,andenhancedlearningoutcomes(Liu&Al-Fuqaha,2019).WhiletheuseofIEWBsinlanguagelearninghasbeenstudied,littleempiricalresearchhasbeenconductedontheirapplicationinEnglishlanguageteaching.ThisresearchseekstoinvestigatetheuseofIEWBsinEnglishlanguageclassroomsandtheirimpactonlanguageproficiencyandstudentengagement.LiteratureReviewInteractiveelectronicwhiteboardsareatypeoftechnologythatallowsuserstointeractwithdigitalcontentdisplayedonascreenthroughtouchandstylusinput(Liu&Al-Fuqaha,2019).ThebenefitsofIEWBsforlanguagelearninghavebeenreportedintheliterature.Forinstance,IEWBshavebeenshowntoincreasestudentengagement,fostercollaboration,andencourageactiveparticipationinlearning(Crameri&Stockton,2014;Saveleva,2015).Additionally,IEWBssupportdifferentiatedinstructionandallowforavarietyofteachingstrategiesthatcancatertodifferentlearningstyles(HeXetal.,2019;Saveleva,2015).TheuseofIEWBsinlanguageteachinghasalsobeenshowntoenhancelanguageproficiency.Forexample,studieshavefoundthatIEWBsprovidevisualandauditoryinputthatcanaidinlanguageacquisitionandretention(Crameri&Stockton,2014;HeXetal.,2019).IEWBscanalsosupporttheintegrationofdigitalmedia,suchasvideosandaudiorecordings,intolanguagelessons,whichcanimprovelanguagecomprehensionandproduction(Liu&Al-Fuqaha,2019).MethodologyTheresearchmethodologyusedforthisstudyisacasestudyapproachthatinvolvesamixed-methodsresearchdesign.ThecasestudyinvolvesagroupofEnglishlanguageteachersandtheirstudentswhoareusingIEWBsintheirclassrooms.Thedatacollectionmethodsincludeclassroomobservations,surveys,interviews,andlanguageproficiencytests.Thedatagatheredwillbeanalyzedusingbothdescriptiveandinferentialstatistics.FindingstoDateTheresearchconductedtodatehasfoundthatusingIEWBsinEnglishlanguageteachingpositivelyimpactsstudentengagement,collaboration,andlanguageproficiency.StudentsreportedenjoyingtheinteractivenatureofIEWBsandfeelingmoremotivatedtoparticipateinclass.ThevisualandauditoryinputprovidedbyIEWBsimprovedlanguagecomprehensionandretention.Furthermore,theuseofIEWBsallowedforavarietyofteachingstrategies,suchasinteractivegamesanddigitalmedia,thatcateredtodifferentlearningstyles.ChallengesassociatedwiththeuseofIEWBswerealsoidentified,includingtechnicaldifficultiesandtheneedforteachertraining.Somestudentsalsoreportedfeelingoverwhelmedbytheconstantstimuliontheboard.Theresearchwillcontinuetocollectdataandanalyzeittoprovideamorecomprehensiveunderstandingoftheimpacts,benefits,andchallengesofusingIEWBsinEnglishlanguageteaching.ConclusionandRecommendationsTheresearchconductedtodatehasshownthatusingIEWBsinEnglishlanguageteachingcanpositivelyimpactstudentengagement,collaboration,andlanguageproficiency.However,therearealsochallengesassociatedwiththeirusethatneedtobeaddressed,includingtechnicaldifficultiesandtheneedforteachertraining.Basedonthefindings,thefollowingrecommendationsaremade:1.TeachersshouldreceiveadequatetrainingontheuseofIEWBs.2.Technicalsupportshouldbereadilyavailabletoaddressanytechnicaldifficultiesthatmayarise.3.Teachersshouldmakeuseofavarietyofteachingstrategiestocatertodifferentlearningstylesandpreventoverstimulation.4.Furtherresearchshouldbeconductedtoinvesti
