Alongwiththedeaths,thereportsaidthatthelivesof325millionpeople,
primarilyinpoorcountries,werebeingseriouslyaffectedbyclimate
change.Itprojectedthatthenumberwoulddoubleby2030.
RogerPielkeJr.,apoliticalscientistattheUniversityofColorado,
Boulder,whostudiesdisastertrends,saidtheForum,sreportwas〃a
methodologicalembarrassment^becausetherewasnowaytodistinguish
deathsoreconomiclossesrelatedtohuman-drivenglobalwarmingamidthe
muchlargerlossesresultingfromthegrowthinpopulationsandeconomic
developmentinvulnerable(易受傷害的)regions.Dr.Pielkesaidthat
