一、目標再現(xiàn)

1.重點控制并記憶與旅游這一主題相關(guān)的詞匯和短語:one-wayflight;roundtrip;Gostraightalonghere.pleasecomethisway.haveagoodtime;haveafamilymeeting;talkabout;goforourholiday;describetodosomething;diving;ontheisland;press;byoneself等等。

2.能準確運用一些婉轉(zhuǎn)提出建議的句式,聯(lián)系實際,議論未來的某一次活動:時光、地點、人物和某些詳細事項。

3.控制有關(guān)電腦方面的一些專用語,對電腦的部分程序操作能用英語表達。

4.能讀懂有關(guān)flight的一些instructions,建立24時制的時光思維意識,以及登機的相關(guān)常識。

5.了解并控制由if或whether及異常疑問詞引導(dǎo)的的賓語從句。

二、重點難點解析

1.DavidandJoy,comeon,we'rehavingafamilymeeting.

大衛(wèi)、喬伊,快點,我們要開家庭會。

comeon在此表示鼓勵、挑戰(zhàn)、哀求、要求等感嘆語,可譯作"趕緊;來吧;快點"。例如:

(1)Comeon,tryitagain!來吧,再試一下!

(2)Comeon.Wearewaitingforyou.快點,我們在等你呢。

(3)Comeon.Thefilmhasbegun.趕緊,電影開始了。

2.Couldyoupleasetellmewhereweshowourtickets?你能告訴我們在哪里檢票嗎?

Couldyou...?句型中,Could不是過去形式,在此表示語氣婉轉(zhuǎn)、有禮貌。在巴望得到?jīng)Q定答復(fù)的疑問句中,以及在含有表示建議、乞求和征求意見語氣的疑問句中,常用some和something,而不用any和anything。

(1)Couldyoulendmeyourbike,please?請把你的自行車借給我好嗎?

(2)Wouldyouliketohavesomedrink?你們想喝點什么嗎?

(3)Whataboutsayingsomethingaboutyourfamily?說說你家庭的情況好嗎?

3.Couldyoutellushowlongwe'regoingtobeaway?你能告訴我們要去多久嗎?

此句是由銜接副詞howlong引導(dǎo)的賓語從句。要注意的是在以銜接代詞或銜接副詞引導(dǎo)的賓語從句中,從句的語序要用陳述句的語序。從句的時態(tài)要隨主句的時態(tài)而變化。例如:

(1)Doyouknowwhattimethetrainleaves?你知道火車幾點離開嗎?

(2)Nooneknowswhyhewaslatelastnight.沒人知道他昨天晚上為什么遲到了。

(3)IwanttoknowhowmanyEnglishwordsyouhavelearned.

我想知道你們已經(jīng)學(xué)了多少英語單詞了。

(4)Sheaskedhowmuchitcost.她問它值多少錢。

4.What'sthenumberoftheSmiths'flightoutofBeijing?

史密斯全家離開北京的飛機航班號是什么?

(1)flight是fly的名詞形式,表示"翱翔;航班"等。

例:FlightNumber6141toBeijingisreadytoleave.去北京的6141次航班趕緊就要起飛了。

(2)outof從……出來(去),相對的詞為into。

如:comeoutoftheroom從房間里出來。gointotheroom到房間里去。

5.take,spend,pay,cost四個單詞意思均為"花費,使用"。

take常用于Ittakes(took,willtake)sbsometimetodosth;spend構(gòu)成的句式中,普通以"人"做主語,句型為:spend…onsth或者spend…(in)doingsth;pay構(gòu)成的句式中,普通以"人"作主語,常用句型為paysbforsth為……付款給……,payoff…付完,償清……;cost普通以物做主語,可以解釋為"花費;價值",它還可做名詞,意思是"價值,價格"。

6.Thentherearelongwhitebeachestowalkalong.

along在這里是個副詞,表示"向前"的意思。along作副詞時,其前面的動詞常常用的有:come,go,crawl,walk,drive,float,fly,move,hurry,pass,roll,run,swim等。例如:

Movealong,please.請向前走!Now,goalong.請直走!

Passthenotealong.把條子傳過去。Shewalkedalongbyhimself.她一個人向前走。

Thedaysglideswiftlyalong.歲月如梭。Comealong!跟我來!

along除表示上述意義之外,還可以作"沿著"。例如:

Lookatthetreesalongbytheriver.看那邊沿河的樹。

另外,along還可以作介詞用。along作介詞時,常常的意思是"沿著"。例如:

Wewentforawalkalongtheroadaftersupper.晚飯后我們沿著公路散步。

"Passalongthecar,please!"saidtheconductor.售票員說:"請往里走!"

咱們看一下是否能找到有關(guān)那個城市的一些信息。

請告訴我這是不是快車好嗎?

這兩句是由連詞if和whether引導(dǎo)的賓語從句,意思是"是否"。倘若將普通疑問句改為賓語從句時要用if或whether連詞引導(dǎo),賓語從句要用陳述句語序。從句的時態(tài)也應(yīng)隨主句的時態(tài)變化而變化。if和whether在通常情況下可以互換使用。

例如:

(1)Didyouknowif/whetherhewouldcometomorrow?你曾知道他明天是否回來嗎?

(2)Motheraskedif/whetherweneededsomemoretea.媽媽問過我們是否再要一些茶。

在下面幾種情況下不能用if代替whether:

(1)當(dāng)whether與ornot連成一個詞組時。例如:

Ican'tsaywhetheritisgoingtorainornot.我不知道明天是否下雨。

(2)whether用在不定式前面時。例如:

Hecan'tdecidewhethertogo.他不能決定是否去。

(3)whether引導(dǎo)的從句放在句首時。例如:

Whetherthisistrue,Ican'tsay.不管是不是真的,我說不準。

(4)whether用在介詞后面時。例如:

Sheisworryingaboutwhethershecanfinishtheworkontime.

她正擔(dān)心,她是否能及時完成工作。

8.I'dliketobookfourtickets,please.我想定四張票。

book在此是動詞,意思是"預(yù)定;買票"。例如:

(1)Youhadtobookearlyifyouwanttohavedinnerinthatrestaurant.

倘若想去那個飯店吃飯,你得早點兒定座。

(2)HaveyoubookedyourpassagetoShanghai?你到上海去的艙位定好了嗎?

(3)CouldIbookaticketthroughtoHainanIsland?

我能買一張直達海南島的票嗎?

9.Thatsoundsreallycool!這聽起來確實很酷!

sound是系動詞后跟形容詞作表語。類似用法的動詞還有:get,turn,smell,taste,feel,look等。例如:

(1)Itlooksmorebeautifulinthesun.在陽光下,它看起來更優(yōu)美。

(2)Thedishsmellsdelicious.菜聞起來很香。

(3)Ioftenfeeltired.我常感到疲勞。

(4)Ittastesbetterthanitlooks.它看起來不怎么樣,滋味還不錯。

(5)Hernamesoundsbeautiful.她的名字聽起來很好聽。

疑問詞引導(dǎo)的賓語從句

學(xué)習(xí)賓語從句,主要應(yīng)該注意以下三個方面的內(nèi)容:引導(dǎo)詞,從句語序以及主從句的時態(tài)的一致性。現(xiàn)在以銜接詞的三種不同情況來舉行賓語從句的總結(jié)。

1銜接代詞引導(dǎo)的賓語從句。

Canyoutellmewhowillgiveusatalk?你能告訴我誰會給我們做報告嗎?(who是銜接代詞)

Showmewhatyouhaveboughtforme?(what是銜接代詞,本來的語序是Whathaveyouboughtforme?)

PleaseguesswhichsubjectIlikebest?

注意:在賓語從句中,其語序為陳述句,其結(jié)構(gòu)為:主句+銜接代詞+主語+謂語+其他成分。

2.銜接副詞引導(dǎo)的賓語從句的用法。

Canyoutellmewhereweshowourtickets?(where為銜接副詞,其語序應(yīng)該為:Wheredoweshowourtickets?)你能告訴我我們應(yīng)該在哪里剪票嗎?

CanyoutellmehowIcangettheinformation?(how為銜接副詞,其正常語序為:HowcanIgettheinformation?)你能告訴我怎樣才干得到那些信息呢?

Doyouknowwhyheisoftenlateforschool?(why為銜接副詞,該句語序為:Whyisheoftenlateforschool?)你能告訴我他為什么常常遲到嗎?

注意:常用于賓語從句中的銜接副詞主要有:why,how,where,when.英語中銜接副詞與疑問代詞是相同的。由銜接副詞引導(dǎo)的賓語從句為:主句+銜接副詞+主語+謂語+其他成分。

3.以連詞if或whether引導(dǎo)的賓語從句。

Iwanttoknowif/whetheryouhavealreadyfinishedyourwork..

I'mnotsureif/whetheryouwillcometothepartytomorrow.

Iwanttoknowif/whetheryouareateacher.

whether/if的意思是"是否",在賓語從句中是不能省略的,他們引導(dǎo)的原句都是普通疑問句。也就是說,當(dāng)你判斷該賓語從句的原句本該為普通疑問句,則在改為賓語從句時就應(yīng)該用whether/if。

[例1]根據(jù)句意挑選合適的詞語并用其準確形式填空。

解析:1.searched,found(此句意思是:警察搜查了那個賊的衣袋,發(fā)現(xiàn)他攜帶著刀子。"搜查"用search表示動作的過程,"發(fā)現(xiàn)"用find表示結(jié)果。)

2.kinds,type(第一個用kinds泛指種類,而第二個意思是:新型的。type表示機器的新類型。)

3.come,entered(根據(jù)句意"湯姆已經(jīng)來了,他進了辦公室"可知一個是來,另一個是進入。再根據(jù)語法來看:第二個空需要一個及物動詞,而come是個不及物動詞。)

4.havearest,relaxed(勞作之后歇息一下多用rest。歌聲使人情緒愉快,使人放松用relax。)

5.edge;top河邊用edge。山頂用top。)

6.cost;spend(物做主語,用cost,意思是:花(費)了。人做主語且句型中有onsth.要用spend,其結(jié)構(gòu):spend…on…意思是:某人買某物花了多少錢。)

7.whom(我們知道who和whom偶爾可替換,但倘若前面有介詞就只能用whom。)

8.reach,arrived(第一句空后接地點,需要填一個及物動詞,而reach是,arrive不是。第二句需要填一個不及物動詞,所以用arrive,又根據(jù)事情是發(fā)生在過去所以用過去式。)

[例2]用合適的銜接代詞或銜接副詞填空。

1.Hewanttoknow_________yourfatherdoes.

2.Canyoutellme_______theyhadamatchyesterdayafternoon?

3.Shedoesn'tknow.DidTompassthemathsexam?(連成賓語從句)

Shedoesn'tknow______________________themathsexam.

解析:1.what(這句話的謂語動詞know是個及物動詞,后面絕對要有賓語。再看后面有主語(yourfather),有謂語動詞(does),說明know后面是個句子做賓語,從而可知空上應(yīng)填一個銜接詞。又根據(jù)賓語從句的謂語動詞(does)也是個及物動詞,可知后面應(yīng)有一個賓語,所以判斷出這個連詞應(yīng)是個銜接代詞。根據(jù)句意"我想知道你父親是干什么的"可知應(yīng)填what。)

2.why/where(用上述主意先判斷出此空后是個賓語從句,缺銜接詞。因為賓語從句中主語、謂語動詞、賓語和地點狀語都全,可判斷出句中少其他狀語,因此須填一個銜接副詞。再根據(jù)所給的不殘破句子試著譯出其中文意思:(1)你能告訴我他們昨天下午為什么打比賽嗎?(2)你能告訴我他們昨天下午在哪里打比賽嗎?所以填Why或where都對。)3.if/whether,Tom,passed(從句的原始形式是個普通疑問句,連詞用if/whether。疑問句語序改為陳述句語序,所以助動詞did去掉,pass改為passed以保持原句過去時的時態(tài)。)

解析:答案為B

When用來表示對詳細的時光狀語提問,所選用的時態(tài),不能用盡成時態(tài),但可以用普通現(xiàn)在時,過去時和未來時。倘若用盡成時態(tài),那么,疑問詞不應(yīng)是when,而應(yīng)是howlong。例如:HowlonghaveyoustudiedEnglish?IhavestudiedEnglishfor3years.

注意:上面推薦的是:當(dāng)when用來提問時,不能與完成時態(tài)連用;但當(dāng)when作連詞時,它是可以與現(xiàn)在完成時態(tài)連用,倘若這樣,when就不是"當(dāng)……時候"的意思了,而是"在……以后"的含義。例如:Pleasetelephonemewhenyouhaveeatenlunch.

你吃完中飯后給我打個電話.(不能譯作:你吃中飯時給我打個電話)
