1.Ihavewonderfulfriends.Inthislastyear,onetookmetoIstanbul.

Onegavemeaboxofhandcraftedchocolates.Fifteenofthemheldtwo

rousing,pre-posthumouswakesforme.Severalwrotelargechecks.Twosent

meaboxedsetofalltheBachsacredcantatas.Andone,fromTexas,puta

handonmythinningshoulder,andappearedtostudythegroundwherewe
