人性中有好多弱點，勵志能有效的克服某些弱點，堅定信念，戰(zhàn)勝困難取得成功。而如今在父母溺愛中成長的我們卻缺乏這種精神。

韓愈教導(dǎo)我們業(yè)精于勤，荒于嬉;雷鋒教導(dǎo)我們我們是國家的主人，應(yīng)該處處為國家著想。顧炎武教導(dǎo)我們天下興亡，匹夫有責(zé)。這些名人都在告訴我們勵志的重要性。

漢朝時，少年的匡衡，非常勤奮好學(xué)。由于家里很窮，所以他白天必須干許多活，掙錢糊口。只有晚上，他才能坐下來安心讀書。但是，他又買不起蠟燭，天一黑，就無法看書了。匡衡心痛這浪費的時間。他的鄰居很富有，一到晚上點起蠟燭，屋子照得通亮。有一天匡衡鼓起勇氣，對鄰居說：我晚上想讀書，可買不起蠟燭，能否借用您家的一寸之地呢?鄰居一向瞧不起窮人，就挖苦說：既然窮得買不起蠟燭，還讀什么書呢!匡衡聽后非常氣憤，不過他更下定決心，一定要把書讀好。匡衡回到家中，悄悄地在墻上鑿了個小洞，鄰居家的燭光就從這洞中透過來了。他借著這微弱的光線，如饑似渴地讀起書來，漸漸地把家中的書全都讀完了。
