朽木易折,金石可鏤。千里之行,始于足下。第頁(yè)/共頁(yè)FoundationofMechanicalManufacturingTechnologyMasterbasicprinciplesofmetalcutting.Mastertheanalysismethodsoftypicalmachinetooltransmissionroute.Havebasicabilityinformulatingmachiningrules,designingjigs,analyzingandsolvingthemachiningtechniqueproblemsinmechanicalmanufacturingprocess.Layafoundationtoengageinthetechnologyandmanagementofthisprofession.Fromtheviewofcommonproblemofmanufacturingtechnology,thiscoursegivesasystemicintroductionabouttheequipmentsandproceduresofcuttingmanufacturingtechnology.Themajorinclusionisasfollows:thefoundationofmachiningsystem,optimizationandcontrolofcuttingprocedure,function,performance,transmissionandmajorstructureofvariousmanufacturingtechnologyequipment,designofmanufacturingprocessroutine,qualityofproduct,andnewdevelopmentofmodernmanufacturingtechnologysuchasGT,NCmachining,CAM,CAPP(ComputerAidedProcessPlanning),CIMSandsoon.CAPPistheuseofcomputertechnologytoaidintheprocessplanningofapartorproduct,inmanufacturing.CAPPisthelinkbetweenCADandCAMinthatitprovidesfortheplanningoftheprocesstobeusedinproducingadesignedpart.Inthiscourse,themainpointisthemanufacturingtechnology.NC:Numericalcontrolreferstotheautomationofmachinetoolsthatareoperatedbyabstractlyprogrammedcommandsencodedonastoragemedium.InthemodernCNCsystem,end-to-endcomponentdesignishighlyautomatedusingCADandCAMprograms.Theprogramsproduceacomputerfilethatisinterpretedtoextractthecommandsneededtooperateaparticularmachine,andthenloadedintotheCNCmachinesforproduction.Sinceanyparticularcomponentmightrequiretheuseofanumberofdifferenttoolssuchasdrills,sawsandsoon,modernmachinesoftencombinemultipletoolsintosinglecell.Inothercases,anumberofdifferentmachinesareusedwithanexternalcontrollerandhumanorroboticoperatorsthatmovethecomponentfrommachinetomachine.Ineithercasethecomplexseriesofstepsneededtoproduceanypartarehighlyautomated.Itisautomaticprogramming,anotherismanualprogramming.Thiscourseintroducessomemachinetoolsandcuttingtheory.Wemainlylearnbasictheoryofcutter,forexample,thecutter’sgeometricsize,whatisworkingcuttingedge.
Themanufacturingtheoryintroducetheprocessingofparts,forexample,theoperation,weshouldfirstprocesswheretheyareeasilyprocessing.
