Dearreaders,

ItiswithgreatpleasurethatIreflectonmyjourneytowardsbecomingafullyqualifiedteacher.Theyearis2024,andIamproudtosaythatIhavesuccessfullycompletedmyprobationaryperiodasanewteacherandhavebeengrantedmyteachinglicense.

Thepastthreeyearshavebeenfilledwithchallenges,learningopportunities,andpersonalgrowth.Asanewteacher,Istartedmycareerwithastrongloveandpassionforeducatingandmentoringyoungminds.ThisfervorwasfueledbytheknowledgethatIhadauniqueresponsibilitytoshapefuturegenerationsandimpactlivespositively.

Toattainthecovetedlicense,Ihadtocompleteaseriesofprofessionaldevelopmentcourses,attendtrainingworkshopsandconferences,andregularlymeetwithmymentorforguidanceandfeedback.Ialsowentthroughrigorousobservationandevaluations,whichhelpedmeidentifymyareasofstrengthsandareasIneededtoimproveon.

Thejourneytowardsbecomingaqualifiedteacherwasnotwithoutchallenges,asIsoondiscovered.Asanewteacher,Istruggledtostrikeabalancebetweenmaintainingtheattentionofstudentsandadequatelycoveringallacademiccontent.Otherchallengesincludedmanagingstudentbehavior,adaptingtotherapidlyevolvingtechnologicallandscapeandagingequipment,andlimitedresources.

However,Iperseveredthroughthesechallengeswiththesupportofmycolleaguesandmentor.Together,weemployedinnovativeandcreativeapproachestoteaching,includingblendedlearningandproject-basedlearning,whichfosteredanengaging,interactive,andmemorableclassroomexperience.

Lookingbackonmyjourneytowardsbecomingaqualifiedteacher,IamproudoftheprogressIhavemade.Irecognizeandappreciatethevalueofongoinglearninganddevelopment,asameansofstayingrelevant,up-to-date,andconsistentwithchangingtrendsandtechnologies.
